  1. No matter how nice you put something, anything that is controversial will bring comments opposed to the idea. If you are out hiking in remote areas, most likely shooting is permitted anyhow. If you are wanting to carry, why not get a permit anyhow without the worries of what the police say. I can understand the dangers of wildlife and if I was out somewhere known for it then carrying would not be a bad idea but you will need to warrant such a kill especially to any game warden. Clarifying what you mean by extreme may help me understand the need. 2. Unfortunately we were unable to attend the event this year. I know everyone must have had a blast. Could anyone please tell me what the outcome of Kitty's X is? Did we replace it? I need to know if I should archive it or not. Thanks There was a young maid from Madras Who had a magnificent a$$; Not rounded and pink, As you probably think--- It was grey, had long ears, and ate grass.
  3. only caches that bug me are the ones that the parking is harder to find than the cache and ones where coordinates are beyond being off. Most caches I have done have been pretty good and I have only come across less than 5 that one would call junk. That's a .03% There was a young maid from Madras Who had a magnificent a$$; Not rounded and pink, As you probably think--- It was grey, had long ears, and ate grass.
  4. BTW...where did you catch it at? There was a young maid from Madras Who had a magnificent a$$; Not rounded and pink, As you probably think--- It was grey, had long ears, and ate grass.

  6. dadgum, too much to drink tonight...I'm seeing double quote:Originally posted by oregone:Um, are you from california or something, Syn? I did a cache today that wasn't too much of a walk, but then it started raining so i decided to walk around the whole lake. That crowded park turned into a deserted one in the space of 30 seconds. Nothing against sunshine, but i prefer caching in the rain. all rights reserved, all wrongs reversed There was a young maid from Madras Who had a magnificent a$$; Not rounded and pink, As you probably think--- It was grey, had long ears, and ate grass.
  7. Personally, to me, it depends on the cache location and weather. Sometimes there is really no easy way to leave a long log. The logbook is flimsy, there is no where to write, it is pouring rain, the pen/pencil is in non working order, a number of things. If a cache is left in a little park that takes all of 5 minutes to find, what is there really all to write. Also as mentioned some caches are just in a bad, overcrowded area making it near impossible to spend time in an area. I would guess my log quality would match the cache quality. 10. I posted an event cache 3 days ago but for some reason that even Jeremy can't answer it is yet to be approved. It now says Hold TMS. I was hoping to launch a new golden item called the Golden nipple. Here are the details hopefully it will be approved soon. Friday the 25th N 45° 30.012 W 122° 25.915 Come have some fun. The coordinates will take you to 1 of 2 bars. A great brewery or if some prefer a nice sports bar. I would like to present a knock off of the Golden Spike. The Nipple currently resides in Thom's Little Cache. This is nothing formal/organized just a meeting place to see a few of the faces that appear on the logs. Time will be 7:30ish PM. Looking forward to meeting some of you. Max does run about 3 blocks from here. The brewery has a smaller bar but the sports bar is bigger There was a young maid from Madras Who had a magnificent a$$; Not rounded and pink, As you probably think--- It was grey, had long ears, and ate grass.
