I got my 100th on Sunday! Only took me 3.5 months.
-
I just checked my account and hit "map it" to map the caches in my area and the only thing that is showing up are the red checkmarks showing the ones I found. What happened to the other icons? I have noticed sometimes there is a single type of Icon missing but never all of them. I double checked the check boxes on the right side and they are all still checked.
Anyone else having this problem today?

Ok for a suggestion how is this. I believe it is called the Redmond Watershed Preserve. There are 4 caches in it
GCB130
GCB562
GCMTT4
GC2912
Just and idea.

Funny, out here in the northwest I would start looking for a decaying stump.

Ahh, Friday now that is even better. I can most likely go now. Tiget would be fine with me, Although just about anything would be fine with me.

D. Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection ©, the judge, in his discretion, may order a person convicted of a violation of this section to perform up to one hundred hours of community service.
Not to be a smart a** but could CITO'ing be consitered your 100 hours of community service... while caching of course.

So how early we talking? I might be able to get away but it depends on my schedual at work next week.

There's been so much back and forth on this that I want to clarify! Friday we are meeting at the parking coords for Night Hike #1 at 6:45 PM?
And are there any additional caches we want to do that night or is that it?
That is correct about the meeting time and place. I don't think there are any other plans for that night. But there are plans for Saturday after the WSGA meeting.
-
That is too cool! I think that is going on my list of "must do this year" caches, right up there with that APE cache I keep hearing everyone talk about.
-
What area are you in, State, geographical region?

two days to go!! This has been a wierd week. I can't wait to get back to normalcy by looking for ammo tins in the woods... at night... with people I barely know...
errr, nevermind maybe next week will be normal

WOW I must be living in one of the densest regions in the country.
3.4 miles for 100 closest. None are mine

sounds good to me. you can keep tacking on "and then's" as far as I am concerned. Um I think Jester was talking about the RR at Benson Rd and 248th.

Now is there any way of changing the units it that menu? eg. C. to F.?

I first noticed it slow down last Sunday, but today I couldn't even get the main page to load. Kept timing out.

OK, will someone that's following this more closely than I am please summarize the dates, times, meeting locations, and plans.
Thanks.
Please correct me if I am wrong.
Friday the 11th we meet at the parking coords for EGH's GCMGE9 at 6:45
Saturday the 12th after the WSGA meeting, possible dinner and then 2 other night caches (I am not sure if they have been decided or if it will be play it by ear).
I think...

6:45p at the parking coords then?
6:45 it is then. For those of you who don't know me I will be driving a silver 2 door Subaru.
-
I would be fine meeting at the parking coords. At least I know I can find those.
-
I was wondering if there was any way of finding out how many cachers were in a specific state. I am specifically interested in Washington, but I would also be interested to be able to see other states as well. Anyone have any ideas?
-
I read in another thread that the pics are chosen by the staff to make sure that content is ok, rather than some sort of random generator. I guess they might have other criteria but that is what I remember reading.
-
I have noticed that when I have the "show caches I have found" button is on that some of the more recent caches I have found (like in the last week) aren't showing the red check mark. This might just be an update lag but I don't really know. Any ideas?

Newby question: Ok, what is GSAK and where do I get it?
Geocaching Swiss Army Knife. It is on the Resources link on the left of the Geocaching site under the "geocaching software" link. Or I am sure someone will post a link soon.

Anything is fine with me. I will just be glad to get out of the house and cache with people who don't think what I am doing is nuts.
