  1. Don't worry we will take care of it. Could you PM me with the details (if needed) Otherwise I will assume it went behind the "object".
  2. Do any of you have a NW Forest pass? I don't. So maybe we all need to bering a few dollars for parking up top. What do you think?
  3. Cent5 I think that there is an actual interest. I am astounded that anyone has that kind of money lying around. I would say mak a low ball bid on the last day and see what happens. A $ per can is really cheap but if it goes to high it stops becoming worth the hastle really quick. edit SP
  4. Well if we leave the end (Rattlesnake Lake) by 8:30 to 8:45 AM we should be at the top and start by 9. It took the group that was pushing till 1:30 pm to finish so I figure if we are going a little slower it will take longer.
  5. I agree with half canadian. The way that this will be a good deal after tax and extras is if we get them really cheap. I know that gas and incidental costs will also add up quickly. It would be very nice to get them but with all the auctions there is no need to go above maybe 1$ each to give us some wiggle room.
  6. so should we meet at the end? Where Peppers party was? 47 26.038 by 121 46.000
  7. we met at the end and carpooled up to the top. Then after we took one of the cars up to get the rest while the others waited at the bottom with the bikes. I guess the other question is how many people. I know Allanon is busy on Sat.
  8. ok I did a quick total. There are roughly a total of 575 boxes asked for. That is what people asked for and if they said up to I guessed a little less and if they gave a range I split it. That is out of a total order of 1170 not 1700. As far as extra orders I know at least one other person I talked to who will want some. Also, my father and I have a nearly empty storage locker, It is really big, that we could temporarily house some of them in while people collect there orders.
  9. Umm, lets see. Short notice, do you need a way to get the bikes to the top? I will have a van with the seats pulled out.
  10. BOAT? BOAT? Don't need no stinking BOAT!! I have 3 canoes with which I have portaged up to 3 miles in BWCA. But then again that was 35 years ago (Most of my portages these days involve a ramp with a lighted Budweiser sign at the end.) Maybe work is frying my brain a little, but did I miss something here? I saw no 5 star terrain.
  11. Friday good, work bad, sooner better. Sorry this has been a really long week at work. I have been thinking about the weekend since Tuesday.
  12. I know, I figured that that would stop a lot of people but I felt that since he told me about it it wouldn't be to fair if I went without him, and it seemed like some other people could make it.
  13. Ok since Allanon was the one that clued me in on the timeline of when the bridge will be removed, he gets the deciding vote. Also I know he hasn't logged it yet (sorry Little Blue). So it looks like Sunday the 22nd. I am guessing 9AM, but the time is still in the air.
  14. Allanon- What is get up? this is Little Blue Late Friday = Saturday morning!
  15. The new one is Over the top II. We did the under the clock tower one a few months ago.
  16. I can probibly make it. Any ideas as to the time? I might want to try to grab a few others in the area before dusk depending on when we would be meeting.
  17. Well it sounds like there is some interest. Is Sunday the 22nd better for everyone? I am flexable so I don't mind. If everyone chimes in I think we could pick a day soon.
  18. After hearing many good things about The Railroad Trestle That Time Has Forgotten, and then recently hearing that the trestle is schedualed for removal in the next few months (my apologies if this info is incorrect) I felt like I should go and attempt to get it soon. After looking at my calander I realized that this weekend the 21st is the only free weekend I have for at least a month. So I am going to attempt it this weekend. Suposedly the weather is going to behave. I invite any who have not found this cache to join me, or anyone who just wants to watch others struggle. I figure that if the trestle is in bad shape either we will get the cache or we will end up pulling it down on ourselves. Either way it sounds like fun to me. I will probibly attempt a few others in the area after. I am thinking about meeting around 8 at the park, I am not sure exactly where though.
  19. Sign me up for a bunch. I really have to start placing some. Maybe a small Uhaul? Oh wait, thats 4.5' by 3.9' by 59' or 1035.5 square feet Maybe a large u-haul
  20. Kiersolved- I would be happy to give you a ride. Where would you like to meet. I live near Overlake.
  21. YEA!! More trails = more space for more caches!
  22. Thats a good article. And I really liked that the reporter went out and actually found one. We need more good press like this, especially in the wake at the SC fiasco.
  23. I know I missed a few so if it is at a slower pace I might be up to do it again.
  24. cant... move... legs... Thanks for the absolute blast. I know that I never would have attempted that alone and the scenery was unbelievable.
