  1. A great big THANK YOU to CSRA Cruisers. My package was sitting in the kitchen today when I got home from student teaching, and it was just the thing to start off my birthday weekend.

Inside my package, I got a Hogwild stuff backpack and lanyard, a micro container, a four keychains, a CSRA pathtag, a nice letter, and two awesome geocoins. The El Muerto del Ammocan coin is my all time new favorite geocoin, thanks so so much. It is perfect! I love it! Here are some pics of my woot.

THANKS AGAIN CSRA CRUISERS, and thanks so much for Penny and Kona for organizing this month'sds birthday missions.

Oh No usyoopers! Did you email the person who ran the August exchange so they can check their records to make sure it was sent out by your person? :D Hopefully it is just "temporarily misplaced" at the post office? Maybe since it is taking so long, it will be a super awesome package when it arrives?

My co-worker is traveling to Canada today, and he took my package with him so he could mail it from inside the country. US to Canada shipping was going to be pretty expensive, so hopefully mailing it from inside Canada will save some $ and some time. Might get to it's recipient early next week!

If we didn't need passports or the special driver's license, we would have just driven the package there and cached on the way!

  6. We would love to participate!

    4. Incoming Package Received!: YES! Today, 12/18/2008 from Texas.

Thank you so much Nursegirl / Team Fireboy!! We received a WONDERFUL mission today all the way from Texas (where apparently, everything is BIGGER!). Our mission contained 9 (!!!) geocoins, 3 path tags, an emergency blanket, a santa pez dispenser, whoppers candies, m&ms, reindeer plushie, hot chocolate, and Magic grow towelettes (in the pic one is missing because it was currently "growing"). Thank you so much!! Your generosity was so appreciated. Before these missions, we did not own any geocoins, since we have only been caching since September. Our coin collection grew by leaps. Thanks so much! The owl coin (sorry, we do not know the "official" names of all the coins) and the pirate booty coins were our favorites, but we LOVE all of them!!

EDIT: Pianissimo (my caching partner) asked me to edit this post and tell you all that he had NEVER (??) had Pez before, and always wanted to try it growing up. Now he has. He also wanted one of the magic grow animals that you put in water, and now he has tried that too. Also, in a video game, he plays a character that looks ALOT like the owl on the coin you sent. It was his absolute favorite coin, although he loved them all. AND, to top it all off, he was tickled that "nursegirl" was one of his mission senders, because he is currently a nursing student at University of Michigan- Flint. Isn't life funny sometimes? Thanks for knowing exactly what he wanted!!

This was our first time participating in a mission, and it was such a good time. Thank you so much!!

And thank you SO MUCH butterfly lady for organizing this mission. It must have taken quite a lot of time and effort. Thank you so much for doing this for us.

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, season's greetings everyone. ;):D:ph34r:

Thank you so much Renee! I love my package. THANK YOU SO MUCH RENEE (Crazy Bear and Honey)!!!! :):DB)

I already put the ornaments on the tree.

  9. It would be interesting to use one of those motion activated cameras that hunters use to see deer and see just who is getting into the caches anonymously. Not sure if it would help anything though. But it might help catch the thief, if there is one stealing from multiple caches. Just an idea. :D
