Is there anyway I can send you my cartridge for you to look at? It is all finished. I just know basics and no matter which way I have tried to set it up the full thin doesn't work, only one part of it will work at the end.

I can't seem to get my cartridge to work at the last stage. I basically have the cartridge set up so that if you do this walk in ten minutes the final location is revealed. However if you do not make the walk in the ten minutes then it is suppose to show a message and make another zone active and visible. I cannot get the second part of the to work. Anyone have any ideas? I can send the file to you. Everything is set and working all except the ending if you don't make the time.
  3. Oh yeah...these are two that are on my to do list... GC175HV Athena's Curse GCGV0P Original Stash
  4. I hope that next summer I will be able to go back to Michigan for a visit and when I do...I will be heading to Mackinaw Island. There are no vehicles on the isle, besides emergency type vehicles. The Island has about 85 caches and the only way to get to them all is either, walk, bike, or ride a horse. I can't wait to go! Here is the center cache on the Island #GC1J06G
  5. We will be up in Northern Michgan at the end of June and are looking for some really great caches to experience. We will be staying in Gaylord, Charlevoix, Petoskey, and Traverse City. Of course we will grab what we can while we are up there, but it would nice to know if there are any caches up there that should not be missed.
  6. I have a friend that lives in Apeldoorn and have visited Amsterdam and Apeldoorn on many occasions. I hope you have a great trip here in Florida. Drop me a line if you want to cache while you are here. Welkom in Florida
  7. There are a bunch of quick grabs along 1A and along beach blvd. Most of them along 1A can be grabbed from a parking spot. You might have to go in a bit like to San Pablo to grab something bigger than a micro. I can't think of any off of the top of my head. There are plenty along 212 (Beach Blvd) as well. If you need someone to grab the travel bug for you, it wouldn't be a problem. Just drop me a line.
  8. Hello...I will gladly drop coins and ot TB's for anyone who wants one in Florida or just the states. I live in Jacksonville Florida. Please add me to the registry. I am also looking for someone to drop a coin or TB in Ireland for me. Anybody out there willing to help? Thanks.
  9. Water! Sometimes you never know how long you might be out, even when you say "Just one more".
  10. Rustic Scout, Thank you for the effort and thought you are putting into your first hide! If everyone followed your lead, we would not being having this conversation right now. As far as the coords go, don't automatically assume you have a bad GPS unless it is broken. If you are marking a waypoint with an unobstructed sky, most GPS are created pretty equal. The best way to make sure you have accurate coords is to take several readings and average them out. Some models will do this for you automatically if you leave it on the spot, if yours doesn't, try this: Walk away 10 meters in each direction and return to take 10 readings or so. Go home and average all of those readings or if you get 4-5 that are the same, take that one. The true test is to return to the cache at another time and see how the coords work for you. Involving others is also helpful but later on you'll want your caching buddies to be hunters. Feel free to email me with any questions. TGB Thanks. I have to tell you that I have been waiting and waiting to post my first cache mainly because I don't want to have people complain about it. It can be a little intimidating to post a cache when you have never done it before. I am constantly seeing places that would make a great place for a cache, but I don't have all the right supplies first of all and second I just need to time to really get a good look at the area and see how it is during the day. I have been creating waypoints and I am at 17 waypoints for each of my first caches. I wanted to get to 20 and then make a more acurate average. My GPS isn't that bad, it does however lose reception when there is to much tree cover. Hopefully this x-mas I might be getting a better GPS.
  11. I am actually getting ready to place my first cache, and thanks to this forum, I have a pretty good idea of what NOT to do and what to do. I don't want to be a numbers person, I want my cache to be a little hard to find but not insane, with different types of containers that are not the usual that are looked for and some really good clues that take some thinking. I dont want mine to be a copy of someone elses either, but when I find a cache that was fun for me, I just try to incorporate that into my ideas for a cache. My only concern is that I don't have the best GPS, so before I list my cache, I have found a few other people that will go out and find my cache and make sure that it isn't off by much. Not to mention borrowing two other GPS' to make sure I have decent numbers. I don't want a crappy cache that no one will want to come and find. I want one where people will go, took me a couple times, but I finally found it.
  12. This ammo can gave me a start when I turned and saw it. It's from this cache GCQF2A http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...c8-36f6dae72bbb
  13. I have a few fake rocks with some fun and colorful glazes, and one good looking spider that I hope will give a few surprises.
  14. I was curious as to what the name of the application will be?
  15. I think that would be a great idea! I know of one in my area that is a coffee can full of micro's, I just haven't been able to get out to it yet. I would love to be able to place a few cache in my area as well, but it's hard to find a place that won't be disturbed by muggles.
  16. I am not sure what I am going to make for a signiture item, but here are two tiles I painted for FTF caches. They are all ceramic hand painted tiles that are completely glazed all over.
  17. I think I would be moving quickly too! I am new at this and one of the caches was in a busy parking lot, so I tried to look like I was on a cell phone. I had a pretty good idea where it was at, but it was just way to out in the open, so I decided to come back when it wasn't busy. I left that parking lot and starting walking down the street to another cache, when I see this car turn into the drive in front of me and I see this guy get out and come walking down toward me on the sidewalk. I am thinking to myself, "Please, don't be coming to.." and sure enough he walked right up to me and said "I saw you at the parking lot over there. Did you lose something? Did you need help finding something?" I said "No, no, I was looking for something...I'm geocaching and I was just looking for a cache." and then he said "Oh yeah, it's right out in front." I quickly said "Don't tell me! I know where it's at, I just didn't want to grab it, in front of everyone." He kinda laughed and I said "Well, I gotta go." and then kept on walking. I was afraid he was going to ask me out or for my phone number.
  18. Man, if that doesn't nail it! "I'm not lost, I'm just Geocaching."
  19. Hello, I have been reading quite a few posts and have found a few that I would really like to reply too, but I haven't used this type of forum before so I have been reading as much as I can about it. I still have one question, that I have not been able to find. How do I post a picture in my post? Thanks.
