When I first got my bag I tried and tried to roll it but there was no way I could get it back in the stuff sack. Now my backpack has a seperate sleeping bag compartment so I just cram it in there.
After stuffing my new tent I have to believe that's the better way to go. It is much more compact. I may even get a smaller stuff sack for it.

Thanks guys sounds like stuffing is the better way to go.

So I just got my first backpacking tent. (Sierra Designs Lightning 2) My question is do i try to roll it up to put it back in the stuff sack or do i just cram it in there like I do with my sleeping bag?

I just got my PN-20 on Wednesday. I got it from tigergps.com for $167 shipped. I am completely blown away. This thins very accurate and does things only found on $300-$500 units. I would reccomend this GPSr to anyone.

I just ordered a PN-20 today. After reading this thread I am even more confident I made the right choice. All electronics have issues sometimes. Delormes commitment to customer service is evident here

Lee I think you hit the nail right on the head.

Same question for the PN-20

P.S. iPhone never claimed to be a "value". But it does what it does very well.

there is the old saying "you get what you pay for". I have the 450 minute plan with unlimited text. My bill is $89 with tax every month. Another thing to consider with AT&T is the roll over minutes. I have almost a thousand banked right now. That will guarantee that I never go over my plan.
With out a doubt the iPhone is the best smartphone for geocaching and everything else. You will not be disapponted. Especially this summer when 3.0 software is released.

I have 2 island caches that i placed by walking on the ice. They have been a huge hit. I can't wait to see who goes after them in the summer.
-
I can see it now. "Thank you Mr. Team, but no thanks."

did you delete the original app from your phone? If so when you visit the app store to redownload it will look like you have to pay for it again. When you click purchase it will ask for your password just like you are paying. Then a window will pop up stating that you have already purchased this app and that you will not be charged to download it again.

For me. Epi-Pen. dadgum bees.

Ok I came across a cache once that was 20 feet up a tree. Leaning next to another tree was an "implement" that was a long stick with a "Y" at the top. Is this cache buried?
-
No, I don't want a cache box.
Edited to add a comma. I don't want to get flamed too.

I wouldn't even email him. He knows he's being a jerk.

I am an atheist. I do not believe this gives me license to do or say whatever I want. It's just another way he is trying to stir the pot.
-
Ok back on topic. No I do not want a cache box.

Thank you Steve. If there are any of you who don't think crab is a troll please read his first thread about his cache going missing.
-
I think in this case we should just add an "all of the above" box to the Geo-cide form.

that little whaler will take anything the ocean can throw at it. Mine has crossed the straights of mackinac in many a gail.

Amen riffster!

I agree j-way. However the OP has been trolling the forums for days. I don't think that anyone with 1 find should be telling anyone else what should be archived. Even with my 87 finds I would be very hesitant to do so.

FInally got to see my first flare a few minutes ago. -8 at the end of my driveway. It lasted much longer than I expected. It was awesome!
