  1. Seems like the spirit of this is to reduce the effort needed to log, drop and retrieve regardless of the purpose. I have been carrying a bunch of TBs around the world (with the owners permission/at their request) and I can tell you that having to log, drop, retrieve up to 20 TBs per cache gets old pretty quickly and I have to admire the dedication of cachers like MaxB! From my perspective, it would be really handy to have the option of selecting dip rather than drop when logging caches. Dip could then spawn a process of "dipping" on the TB pages rather than drop and retrieve and remain in the owners hands. Added to this could be the option to either include the cache log note or add a separate log specifically for the TB. I guess this would also negate the need for creating and then deleting notes simply for catching up on dips - dip could also be an option added to the TB page for those times you forget to do it at cache log time. Also would be handy to be able to reference photos (I haven't found a way to do this) so that I upload once and have it added to the gallery for both the cache and the TB logs.
  2. Thanks for getting back to me offline. It sounds like I just need to contact the owners and have them recalculate the mileage from the TB page -- will do.
  3. Check out Little Miss Bull TB211B6 as an example. The drops look correct chronologically i.e. Seattle, Toronto, Heathrow, Windsor although I actually logged them windsor, seattle, toronto, heathrow. Mileage is only showing as 1174. I'm about to drop a bunch in LA and have just realised I forgot to log Niagara Falls in between Toronto and Seattle - who knew holidaying could be so hectic
  4. Ah, I did log them with the correct date - just did the actual logging in reverse order. Am waiting to see whether it's just that the system needs to catch up before taking any next steps
  5. I'm on a lengthy vacation around the world and have gathered a small gang of TBs and GCs that want to dip in and out of all the places I'm going (only for those where the owners have given their blessing). Following a pretty hectic couple of weeks, I've only just found time to update the TB hops and in my haste, have put them in backwards, chronologically speaking. That is, I should have recorded hops along the lines of heathrow, toronto, niagara falls, seattle. but instead have the reverse. Trip numbers on the map show correctly however the miles that originally reflected the endpoint (Seattle), now look more like they would have been at Heathrow. Do I have to go back and undo all the logging and redo in the correct order or will the system catch up. Or, does the owner need to do something? Fingers crossed for 1 of the latter 2 edit: I should note that I still have all the TBs in my posession so, if simply dropping them back in at the next stop will fix it, I can solve this myself. 6. I have Cachemate and RichesseGPS which both work fine although they could do with multi-select on import or take wildcards. Also, a map overlay would be superhandy. Even better, would be if CoPilot (the satnav software that came with my phone) supported .gpx or at least allowed import of co-ords as points of interest.
  7. Actually, now that I think of it, bookmarks may be the solution for me - you can have multiple bookmark lists and create a PQ from a bookmark list. Would still be good to be able to PQ or Bookmark all on a map for gpx output without having to do individually.
  8. The resulting PQ uses a co-ordinate based query (presumably centre of the map) but has a radius option that doesn't necessarily translate easily to what is framed. My experience is that the resulting .gpx file contains a much larger range too. I think a good solution would be to allow all the mapped caches in the sidebar to be selected/de-selected then downloaded as a single .gpx
