  1. I'll get the feathers....  Who's buying the Tar?!  :D

And to think it was just last week that I sent a half a bucket of roofing tar to the dump. Isn't that always the way? As soon as you toss something out you find a really GOOD use for it.

WE got all the tar you need, thats my business, we install that stuff!!!:D

All we can say is this was the most laughs we have got out of geocaching so far, glad our new little cache is getting everyone all worked up.

Worked up? In TAR?? Is this some kind of sick joke? That sicko/side jumper Camel with his feathers and now we find out GRB is in the Tar Business. At least BKS is with us men! Right?! ;)

Now I am in hot water GUYS..... Need some help over this way. GRB is ;)

Good thing I got the key to the tar.

  3. So it stands that Bill and Tim were the first two find and that Outrageous Fortunes and 2 for the road are actually #4 and #5, because #3 was Clayham who also misterously disappeared off the log sheet as well.  So the GUYS were actually the FTF.  Sorry ladies.

Ya. What BKS said. How low will some cachers stoop. Those ladies... you just can't trust 'em as far as you can throw 'em (Throw them off - that is). :ninja: Trouble makers. :ninja:

At this time, we are thoroughly confused as to who the culprit could be. We know when the log sheet was exchanged we just don't know who did it. It has given us a good laugh though.:blink::huh: Looks like some of you may just have to resign the log.

  4. Some of fellow cachers are up to Mischief in the caching world

Mischief? I can't believe any CVC geocachers would be up to mischief! Well, maybe a little benign mischief, but certainly no malicious mischief!

Okay this has really been bugging us, so we took a little trip to the cache! Sure enough, there is definitely mischief going on in this town. There are only 3 signatures on the log sheet, however the log sheet in the cache now is not the log sheet that was placed in the cache when the cache was placed. So now we guess that the culprit should know that they have been figured out.

  5. CONGRATULATIONS TO: OUTRAGEOUS FORTUNES & 2 FOR THE ROAD FOR FTF!!!

You may want to check for accuracy...Bill and I were FTF on Monday. (Yes, we were being sneaky) :ninja: We were holding off on logging our find to encourage others to do this wonderful multi-cache. (And it seem to have worked!) :ninja:

Anyway, WE took the FTF prize and signed the log sheet in the FTF positions. So ladies...neener, neener, neener!!

It really was a fun cache! (And even more fun to be a bit sneaky)

Ok we have to be "The Mediator" here. Ok we and one other fellow cacher just left from the cache???? Unless your ink disappears then we do not see your log. I think Bill Is up to no good as usual :P:huh:

Looks like there is NO FTF for now.....

  6. Drats... the boss said it was ok to come to work even if I'm sick as a dog and expose all the coworkers. He felt like it would be better than the alternative. Do you think he reads this forum or is he just smart like that. And now I see a major brake through on Step 3. A spoiler! Maybe Saturday!?! Likely not a SFC (Stockton Female Cacher). :P

Yes I gave in on #3.

Yep I think you all sent that bug this way... :) what now!

My boss will not go for this......called in sick again...Theres got to be a doc out there that geocaches and will sign my note

  7. I think a few is ok but when you got 11-15 of them,  I found a few with that many in there hands!

That's the way Jeep has been distributing all those jeeps. They have been handing out hand fulls to certain cachers whom then spread the wealth. Remember it's an over whelming chore to stash thousands of Travel Bugs. Networking is the only way. I'm sure you'll have a jeep one day and if not, I'll let you look at my jeep after the presentation. [You don't think Jeep wants me farming with a Ford Bronko do you?!]

This we know!!!! But THEY FOUND ALL OF THEM!!! THATS MY POINT HERE!!

  8. Sure would like to get Locked in a Cubical off my not found list. Bill what's the new word on this guy.

Also for the fellow cachers that have found Old City Hall gcg9ub is that one still around? Been out there a few times and came up empty handed and have not got a response back from owner, so maybe someone else could help out?

  9. I'm kinda guilty of that, but I have a good reason. I'm saving mine for the upcomming event. So BKSGRB keep an eye out

I think a few is ok but when you got 11-15 of them, I found a few with that many in there hands!

  10. Been looking to find a jeep tb for a while now just to say we found one. Still have came up short on that and I know why now. Its because some cachers like to stock pile them  So my question is WHY? Why would you keep them and not just a small # of them. Is that the game to KEEP them and not let the rest of us find one! Ok maybe Iam over reacting on this but come on now.

Just glad this WAS NOT a CVC Cacher!!!!!!

  11. The new cache over here, A Ripon Multi & TB Hotel has kicked my back side. The third step has proven to be rather difficult for Tim as well as myself. It's impossible to hunt it without being seen so I wrote off laying low from the get go. After spending way too much time trying to get that step, I did something I've never done before. I conceeded. The victory goes to BKS and/or GRB for pushing me past my limits. Now I'm sitting on the side line watching (likely one of those ladie Stockton cachers) for the FTF or other developements that may get me encouraged again. Those corrected coordinates don't even look appealing (the bad coords were 30+ feet off). I'm sure this cache could rank up in the best of all caches. Time will tell.

    Now Bill and to all,

That was not our plan to push you to wits end  or any one at that. We how ever wanted to stump those Stocktonians. Dont give up!!! #3 is there, I even moved it a little this am to make it even easier! Should not change the coords, only moved it a few inches. So with that time will tell?

Dont worry Bill you still have another Life Line Left!

  12. See that no one has went for Ivy League yet!!!!! FTF is still up GCKCM5, Also Milgeo Murphy is still waiting for all of you GCKC9K.

Should have a few more pop up real soon....

Oh Ya By the way there all in RIPON!

  13. Ripon Caches....HAH!!! Try some STOCKTON Caches...They're way betterer....

Any way I'll need to hook a ride with the Tek's to go and get any more than 5 miles from my house.

BTW has any one done the American River Bike trail caches?! I heard they're great and we might go do them later this year.

With only 48 TDC finds how would you know what is better or NOT! ;)

Still got rookie stripe on.....

    Happy Caching!!!!!

  14. Where do we get the CVC log from? Cant get it off the forum...tried every thing or just dont know the trick?

Just right click on the picture or logo or whatever and "save picture as...." It's really easy.

Cachecows209, you asked if you can log CVC Tag!!! more than once. Yes, you can, but you have to let two other cachers find it before you go after it again. (Can you really ride that bike of yours all the way to Merced? B) I'm impressed!)

    Tried that too..

Thanks any way.. was able to get it the hard way lol......

  15. I'm back !

No, not really. Just saw that the SAC group had come to Stockton and it brought back memories of days gone by.

Speaking of which, is there a site anywhere that lists the top 10 finders/placers around the world? I know several of the bay area cachers are in the 4K to 5K range for finds, though for the life of me I can't imagine how the "sport" can still demand that much attention after "x" number of finds!

    Ron

    TO ALL OF THE CVC,

I myself was looking for a site or something that would track your finds and have a run down on them. After reading Rons post and seeing the other things that were posted I did some home work on this. My idea is to have a CVC site for the greater Valley for all CVC cachers. Just like the Bay Area one. So my question to all of you, Is this something you would want and use??? Any feed back or suggestions would be great. I have been in contact with Jeff @ boulter.com who makes the list of the Bay Area and others. Jeff has offered to set this up for us, but again I would like to get all of your feed back first.

If this is something that you all would like, I will donate my time to help set it up and help Jeff out if there is any thing he will need.

    Thanks,

    BKSGRB
