  1. Also Mt. Tamalpais has a great cache on the top and has an extraoridinary view of the bay but it's a little far off your path it sounds like. Good hike but you can drive to the top if you want...My GPS still has the battle scars from that cache. A large gash on the screen!!
  2. grief...hah...ME and Grief in the same sentance...It's preposterous!! BTW this is Peter Oh and the people who are bringing friends to the event we need to know how many we are having!!
  3. Well I'm no doctor but the sympotms look like it's the geo-bug. LoL it seems to be going around alot lately!
  4. come on...seriously.....bulls are faster!!! DUH!!!!
  5. Great idea, Green Achers. We'd love to help Cachecows get to Ripon, but aside from his parents probably objecting, Malcolm isn't signed off for external loads. Too bad, Cachecows could have made such an IMPRESSIVE entrance to the Ripon caching scene! Ok now thats just plain DIRTY!!!.... Airlifting is not the answer....!!!!!
  6. Someone must capitalize...It is prime cachestate (as opposed to real estate) anyway...get out there people...and sign up for the event!!!
  7. ooooo Ripon...the city of.........?que? Ok I'll get a ride from Ryan in the next few years. Believe me...I am up for the challenge!!!
  8. I think I just heard the glove hit the ground for the challenge...... wait.... yes. Challenge was definitely laid out! Ya. I heard it over here too. That was an un-mistakable challenge. Wasn't it?! As far as Ripon... did that say caches? I read it as Cachers. Guess I missed yet another FTF opportunity. No worries though as I'm getting used to the abuse. BTW, I'm really getting a kick out of the friendly kidding and clever humor. In keeping, I caught on to CacheCow's sense of rivalry and knew he'd have to eat those words. I was leaning towards making him hunt all the Ripon caches though. I will admit, I've hunted some nice challenges in Stockton (and there's that one DNF that everyone else is now finding but me) but other wise Ripon is doing rather well per capita! are we talking human population or geocacher population? cuz im sure you got us beat in that department...anyway sorry to blow a gasket i got upset
  9. BTW that was sarcasim...and if you'd stop geocaching for 2 seconds you'd probably realize that.. And it's 58 FYI
  10. Ripon Caches....HAH!!! Try some STOCKTON Caches...They're way betterer.... Any way I'll need to hook a ride with the Tek's to go and get any more than 5 miles from my house. BTW has any one done the American River Bike trail caches?! I heard they're great and we might go do them later this year.
  11. Seems to me like everynes starting a fire over starting a fire....But then again there is no cache patrol on duty and what are you going to do to people who put matches in caches..Shiow up at their door and yell at them?!!! Because I'm sure that they meant for stupid reckless idiot people who geocache(a slight minority I might add) may think of starting a fire with the matches.. and again if they're hiking they probably have matches anyway!!!!!! And BTW my Uncle is a Firefighter who has to deal with multiple fires a day, hurricanes, and to top it off is also a paramedic and he has never seen one instance of someone burning things down with matches from a geocache...and in Dean Cain's words "Unbelievable?...Believe It!)
  12. Its is a direct order!!! You MUST all sign up for the event!! Especially you BILL!!!!
  13. Ya! The new icon says B-B-Que all over it. ------- Looking forward to the Gathering (even though there's no Que going). Maybe Ron will show up since it's so close to him. I just might have to bring a steak for you!!! Na also....My cow is way cooler than that stupid camel..I mean really..who eats a camel!!??? Also everyone better sign up for the event because its going to be awesome and we're all going to log it as a find hehehehe
  14. I spent 5 trips looking for this cache by me. The first two the guy(my best friend) insisted it was there. Then he went and checked and it wasn't..Anyway he switched the container and I had to go back 3 more times to eventually find it in a sprinklerhead..also i had 3 popped bike tires to and from this cache. I was glad when I finally found that one!!
  15. oh yah and Bill for the last time... YOU CANT COOK MY COW..........HE HAS WEST NILE AND YOU WILL DIE!!!!
  16. good cache page Ryan Event Cache anyway I'm loving the fact that you can't log the finds that you are going to make at the event becuase you recorded it to your account!! or would that be bad for for me and Laura to log it because we made them.. tough decision. anyway I hope ya'll can come....bring TB's by the way and we'll see who can get them moving!!
  17. knowing hemlock..it may take a few months.....lol anyway I was Just Kidding hemlock...we think your great
  18. who is ron? hah!!! Ron is one osf the foremost geocachers in our area. he basically brought geocaching here from what I've heard. He is also one of the most prestigious hiders of the cache with well over 100. He has some great caches to find and is almost at 1000 found. His caches are well thought out and tricky. Anyway...someone else want to chime in?!
  19. a few emails?!!! I had 162 messages in my indox for caches i am watching which include most of the ones you guys found. Anyway sorry about Op Stump Tek #2...It was out again and I forgot to reboot the cache page. Anyway...good job!!
  20. sorry butt is right!! sorry butt is Right! again!!!!! Ryan what did you do?!?!?! Well I guess that means you're out of the running for the credit for el cache de evento but you can still write it up and find the caches too...if you can anyway Laura is a very splendid person and I was glad to meet her. Everyone watch out!! Two very devious minds at work!!!
  21. amen bill but we can't determine who is the "leader" I guess Ryan and I put the idea together but OF has been helping a lot! I'm not worried about the numbers but I think it would be better to credit more than one person.
  22. I think what he's saying is that more than one person put time and effort into creating a fun event and only one can get credit for it? That doesn't seem right because how can one judge who gets the honor. I know it doesn't really matter but it would be better to havee a multiple hider option. Ooo and also can one have multiple event cache finds if ther's more than one in the loop at the event?
  23. Man, a parking meter would be awesome! Talk about urban camo. I wonder if there's any in town that aren't bolted down tight... wouldn't that be a cache of commercial nature.... now thats a big non no. You would get lots of money...Yay!!!!
