On MS's maps.live.com they have a bird's eye feature. That's me in my backyard fixing my fence. At another angle you can see my dog laying in the yard. Gotta love satellites.

You don't, it's not a geocache so it doesn't fall under any imaginary geocaching.com jurisdiction, it's a letterbox. You leave it there so the letterboxers can find it.

It might be what I found out earlier about lizard vomit but shall not be said here..... So, I just had to google to see what you guys found...pretty sure I found it. Maybe I should mention that my search was for only 1 word (so "lizard vomit" is out)...you just gotta find the right site to do the search. Well, without knowing exactly what you searched for, and where, that makes it difficult (though I do appreciate the clues). On the other hand, logically speaking the story should have the words "vomit" or "puke", "lizard" and "coin" or "geocoin" (and perhaps "geocaching") in it. If it's several years old, searches for those terms should find the article -- without having to replicate the exact search you did. (Note also that many search engines, like Google, have indices that are not always 100% in synch across the thousands of servers that the engines have in place. So even if, say, you and I inputted the exact same search phrase, we may not see the same results in the same order. This is especially true for people in different countries.) This is a good point you make. The possibilities are astronomical, that is why I should be declared the winner.

I'm going to go out on a limb... A another term for "lizard vomit" would be "dragon's puke". Ironically enough, when you rearrange the letters in "dragon's puke" it spells Groundspeak. There is a fairly recent geocoin edition called Dragon's Puke as seen here... or here which is a link to Palmetto's coin. Palmetto is in Florida where the coords you listed as hint also places you. How's that?

I think I am going to start using Virgania Horsen's Pony Express from now on. Everything else is too risky.

The Geocache America series from Coins and Pins has a solid silver edition that is still for sale. It has its own special icon too.

Oooo! Is it pretty there? I need a vacation! In my experience (3 or 4 times) it was about the same, but a little cool. I found wearing a sock to be helpful.

What does the other side look like? I believe that the two coins in the picture are exactly the same only one is flipped to the reverse and the other to the obverse. Can you post a picture of it?

Go to any non-PMOC cache page. Click the link, "log your visit" in the upper right corner. The url will look like this http://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?ID=232624 then change the "ID=" to "WP=" and replace the number with the GC code of the PMOC in question so you get: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?WP=GCNJVY go to that link and log the cache. Oh I am sorry. I guess I was referring to "finding" them part, not the logging part. I should have clarified. So let me rephrase this. Could someone point me to the documentation of how non-PM's can find PMOCs? First let me clarify that most of the PM caches around me aren't worth finding cause they are micros, so I don't bother with them. If I had to find it I would just ask someone to print out the page for me, but time equals money so in some regards one might be better off paying the three bucks and getting the coords and the info instead of the alternate methods. The alternate method that I would try first goes down like this and it is only going to work if you are just looking for a traditional single stage cache. For example, if you look at the HauntHunters profile you will see that they have a travel bug or two that they have launched or have visited one of their PMOC caches. Find the page for that travel bug. In the upper right hand corner find the link that says "View in Google Earth". If you open up that file in notepad or as a word document instead of Google Earth you will see a string of information. At the bottom you will see coords listed like this; -82.XXXX,27.XXXX,100 -82.XXXX,27.XXXX,100 -82.XXXX,27.XXXX,100 It's listed longitude first latitude second and disregard the 100. That will put you pretty darn close the rest is done on site looking for obvious hiding places according to the cache size.

I'm not sure of you knew this, but people can get the coords to a premium members only traditional cache without ever opening your cache page. Download a PQ that includes your cache. Open the PQ with GSAK, and the coords are listed in the GPX file. I was informed of this a few years back. You can get also coords that are pretty close by looking at kml files of travel bugs that have visited the MOC cache in question, however this is really only effective for traditional style caches.

The overwhelming majority of geocachers think bogus logs are perfectly fine. I don't think that is quite accurate either. The overwhelming majority of cachers don't enter the forums to discuss what their opinions are.

Does that mean that we don't have to do these anymore? 2. Write about your find in the cache logbook. 3. Log your experience at www.geocaching.com.

LOL! I found one of these when I was bailing out my kayak after my event at "The Point". Thanks for the "safety net", I hope I never have to use it.
