On 5/16/06, I found a Capt. Prozac geocoin in "Snoopy's Revenge" about 50 miles NW of this cache. I drove almost 300 miles roundtrip to get it.

Yet another poor "geo"-coin. See the Sumatra geocoin and the Orion geocoin and the Feng Shui geocoin threads about how people will try to sell anything on a geocoin. Don't we as cachers have better morals about selling useless/lame/crappy/unispired/costly geocoins to other cachers. I don't mean to sound rude but enough is enough. Let's start keeping the geocoins related to the hobby so it will last for years to come and not leave a sour commercial taste in our mouths.

Maybe now is the time for "us" as a community to start placing some rules/limits or even embargos on the geo-coin craze. Maybe "we" should be approaching the minters about some of these issues and even approaching TPTB about some of the concerns that have arisen. After all, this country is a Democracy and we should be Democratic about this issue.

I miss the time when Cav Scout was friendlier about trading his personal geocoin. Not a flame, just an observation.

I can provide the name of the cacher and the TB, and the next person can do the same. And so on.... When TB's are re-released, they and the cacher can be taken off the list. You can use this list as a reminder to those whom are holding TB's for 90 days or more. Nothing harmful intended.

Can we start a pinned topic that lists the names of all cachers who have been holding on to TB's for 90 days or more? No insults needed, just a list of the cachers' names and the TB's that they are holding.

Why don't we as the geocaching community start setting price limits on sales of geocoins. If everyone of us puts their respective foot down, there will be less price gouging in the future. For example if cacher A wants to sell their coins at $20 each- we should all boycott it until the price becomes more reasonable. Fair prices means fair business practice.

"SAVE OUR LIFES" yet another problem with this coin. Maybe it needs a complete design change to insure success. C'mon DR- you can do better than this. Time for part 2.
