RexBloodman replied to BiT's topic in General geocaching topics

That is just a great article! Someone needs to get it into the archives to preserve it for future cachers.

Santa Brought Me A Gps And I Want To Get Started !
RexBloodman replied to Drax and zee's topic in How do I...?
Goto your main menu screen and look for setup. now using that little stick looking thing in the upper left corner tap it left or right or up or down to get there. Click the top of the stick and you are in the setup screen. click down to units. and in the first slot it should say one of the aforementioned settings. set it to hddd mm.mmm. -
WYSIWYG figure that one out.

>>>To keep on topic, these flakes may make good trade items when you make it a Shrinky Dink, or a signature card. That thing belongs in the ot thread under "Things You Loved That Young-uns Never Heard Of?" forum.

Are you ready for this get together? It is Saturday Oct 1, 2005. Search for either Big Bear Cache Bash or GCPYA9. Bring your sweaters or light jackets morning and evening temp will be cool (low 60's)

First Of Next Generation Gps Satellites Launched
RexBloodman replied to WH's topic in General geocaching topics
To me the article suggests that this sat is another 35 or 47 correction sat for the moment. -
First of all congrats, second - you can just put it into a cache that it will fit into, Third - Yes if you would have found it and took it with you last week it too would be acceptable.

I would not use the chain that is supplied with the tag. Make it more permenent as in using a rivet through the hole and the item.
-
Try taking it into the mountains. it should have good cover there.

Except Hurricane "RITA" In Florda keys!!!

I was toying with the Idea of making a real yellow or white jeep a TB. But alas I cannot afford to buy one. I think it would be funny to see a picture of a real one at a cache.
