  1. Link for Lost Peak cache:

    http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?wp=gcwt69

Normally I would suggest emailing the owner, but they haven't been online in over a year. That area will be cold and covered with snow real soon, so the window to make a find this year is closing fast. The TB might have to ride out the winter in the cache.

A good first start would be to post on the cache page with your request for somebody to rescue the TB. You might also consider posting on the UTAG forum to see if anybody there can help you out.

    http://www.utahgeocachers.com/

TOO Late, the snow is already here for the winter.

  2. I merged the new topic into the old topic that was bumped yesterday on the same subject.

Thank you mtn-man. I was the one who bumped the old thread because of reading about the flare. at least I searched and found a forum that existed already.

  4. I bought one of the coins when he first put them out and they are a great looking coin. Now that they are leaving I ordered another coin just to keep. I too have enjoyed his caches, TB's and geocoins as I have moved some of his TB's and Geocoins when I traveled to Texas while I still lived on California.

We will miss you TTHT CACHE ON!!!

  5. I for one loved moving Tommy Trojan Travel Bugs and geocoins. He is doing a sale on the current version of his Geocoin at http://www.wient.com.

    More later ...

Please send your condolances if you liked their caches, TB's, and Geocoins.

  6. ... is anyone missing a yellow shark TB?

I've found it in a cache in the Victoria area and when I tried to log it, it keeps coming up as unactivated.

If no-one responds to this in a couple of weeks, I'll try get an activation code or an buyer's name from gc and send it on it's way.

    Thanks,

    Pistolleer

Is this travel bug tag of the new or old design?

  10. Cute idea! I wonder if you could put the Geocaching logo on each square of tp??

    9b8c52b9-b3f5-460d-8fe1-0cca73fbfeb4.jpg

How about this? There's still some blank space on the back side? Does anyone have any ideas I could use for that?

EDIT: I'm not sure if Groundspeak would allow the image to be skewed like those are...

I'm currently working on a new coin with a skewed logo and they approved it with no problems. As long as the ‘circle r’ trademark symbol is there it should be fine.

How about alternating the GX logo and the four color square?

  11. When you CITO at a cache site, should you have a logtype you can use in addition to the ones that exist now?

They would *not* be counted as a find, but may be used in another category of # of locations cleared.

    Benefits:

    1. Logs can be aggregated for galleries and statistical purposes

    2. Reinforces the "Cache In Trash Out" mantra

    3. Badge of honor for doing what's right.

    Drawbacks:

    1. Already too many log types.

    2. Clutter up the cache listings with 2 logs per person.

    Hi there Jeremy,

Can I suggest the use of the control key to make the log a cito and a regular log in one swoop.

I do like the idea for marking a cito on a cache and logging it too.

  13. I'm experimenting tonight, I used less Gorilla glue than before, plus I found a 2 part epoxy for plasics at my Kragen Auto parts store. (The Checker, Shucks, Kragen chain). I'll post the results tomorrow.

Hi there I did a round altoids tin with magnets to hold it. I used the 2 part epoxy to adhear them to the bottom. But before I mixed the epoxy I SANDED the bottom of the tin so that the epoxy would have something to grab onto.

Now for camo, Look at this thread at the pics to get some inspiration.

Or I have put most of the pics onto a web page that I made at the following
