I thought it would be cool if we could locate all caches along a route: for example if I were traveling from one city/state to another...I could querey all caches within 5 - 15 miles from the route I'd be taking...like when you map a route in mapquest. Is this something that would be possible? It would be cool for travelers/vacationers.

I have a Meridian Color, and I love it so far. I'm new to geocaching, and this is the only unit I have used. This unit works GREAT on the road with DirectRoute softwware. I have used it on about 5 caching adventures so far and I works well there also

I am also new to geocaching. I purchased a Meridian Color Travel pack for Christmas. Compu Plus had them for 399 minus 50 rebate. I use this unit for road travel too, and it seems to work great. I have only a few cache finds under my belt, and this is the only unit I have used. It has guided my to within 30 feet in all cases. In one case I guided me to the exact spot! Good luck!
