  1. Is it a bug or known issue that when those of us in the 'eastern hemisphere' post a log for a found cache from the field it will date the log as the previous day and not the day the cache was found. I have all my timezone settings correct but cannot get this annoying issue to stop.
  2. Hi there SW-Merkin Cachers, I was wondering if one of you had RIVER CACHE on your list of 'to-do' caches? The reason I ask is that I set a TB going just over 2 years ago now in a TB 'race'. Now while a lot of the TB's are back home (or lost) mine has been stalled in Arizona for quite some time. Gee it would be just really great if someone could pick it up and kick it along a little. Yes, I know it is in an 'out of the way' place and its a day trip to it - but I am confident there is someone out there with this cache on their to-do list and maybe - just maybe - the thought of assisting a fellow cacher from Australia is all it would take to help you get a round to finally crossing this one off your list. Thanks for your time. Langy!
  3. I have already indicated my preference as a bowler. PS - It looks like Partic has already done some of the captaincy work and got the side together - or is it just that the rest of us stepped back faster?
  4. Well given that I have a couple of unactivated bugs AND I love watching the odd "to and from" suffer in their jocks - count me in as an antagonist for the colonials. However I must respectfully ask that my my bug be a bowler (just pencil me in at No 11 in the batting order) and so I will look for either a pigeon (Glenn McGrath's nickname is pigeon for those who are uninformed) or a ferret (as in 'batting ferret' - the one you send in AFTER the bunnies!). In short - count me in! Langy!
  5. Thanks for the heads up. It hadn't dawned on me to try that - but then again a school teacher with exams to write and stuff like that does not always think straight.
  6. Is there no one from the nearby cities and towns who might be able to help me with this one? I am hoping that this one is going to get off the ground and soon. Please email me (teamlangy@tpg.com.au) if you (or a group of you) can help out. Thanks in advance. Langy!
  7. Just a short note to get my message back towards the top of the list but more to let you know that if you are able to help me then I might not reply until Tuesday (June 14) coz there is an event cache here in Sth Australia this weekend. Looking forward to hearing from YOU soon!
  8. Hi there from Australia! I am looking to effect a cache exchange with someone from around Fletcher Ohio. A good friend and work colleague of mine who has only recently been bitten by the caching bug has just had a fairly major operation and so it laid up for a few weeks/months. I wanted to do something nice for him and this idea dawned on me. My friend who goes by the pseduonym - EmZee Wild'rs - grew up in Fletcher Ohio and moved here (to Adelaide, Sth Australia) with his beautiful Aussie bride. It would give him a real buzz to find that we have exchanged caches for him. My plan is to make a cache filled with Adelaide-centric items and send it to Ohio to be placed somewhere appropriate in or near Fletcher and I will place a similarly prepared cache here in Adelaide near his home. If you can help me with this I would be most appreciative. I am looking forward to a flood of offers of help! Thanks in advance. Langy! of TeamLangy!
