  1. I would like one as well. Would you be interested in a trade for my personal coin?
  2. I think everybody here answered the question already, but here is my answer. You have to contact Groundspeak and request your group (Hmm, wonder which one, lol) to be allowed to have their own trackable prefix codes. They sell them at a minimum of 1000 codes. You do not have to use all 1000 codes at once. You can use 500 now for a 2006 edition and another 500 later for a special event coin or a 2007 edition. Either way the up front cost is $1500.
  3. You had the Kentucky 2005 coins on there with '?' on trackable. They are not gc.com trackable, but you can track them on the Kentucky Geocachers website.
  4. I think it has become way to saturated, and I can not keep up with the mentality of 'Gotta Have Them All!". I used to be able to keep up with the one coin every other day bit, but now coins are coming out 2-3 a day and they sell out in mere hours. But I only have to look as far as the mirror to find blame, because I too have added to this craze and will try to continue. My main focus has to shift from ALL COINS to SOME COINS especially gc.com trackable coins. I like state and organizational coins as well. As far as getting a shot at getting one of these coins, I am in.
  5. sent request, my profile name is my gc.com name
  6. Wow, what a response from everybody. I sold way too many coins today. I set the stock at a certain number and when the stock ran out it kept taking orders, putting me over the limit. No need to worry though I have the coins and they are all packaged up and going out in the mail Saturday or Monday, since tomorrow is a holiday. I fixed all the glitches, including the stock glitch, and the site will be stable for me now to do the coin editions such as the holiday coins. What I need now is a way to have people get their activation codes from my website instead of me printing 500 activation labels and putting them on the coins. If anyone is willing to help me out with that let me know.
  7. Any money accepted in paypal will be honored. I think there is a bug with the site and I am working through the issue. Right now it's easy to figure out what the money is for since I have only the one coin. If I received a paypal payment then you will get a coin. Yes, I can sell a personal coin trackable on gc.com for $10. I checked with them on this and they said not a problem as long as I am not selling something in the neighborhood of a few 1000 coins. $10 too high? Not according to all the orders that have come through. It seems that if people are willing to pay $30-$50 to get a coin off ebay, then they would be happy to pay me $10 for a coin.
  8. Site is down due to a bug. Anyone who ordered multiple coins, your order isn't showing on the website, but your paypal did come through. I have to see what the problem is and try to fix it before I re-list the coin.
  9. Thanks, I went ahead and removed it. I wish there was a way to show the coin without anyone being able to order it, this would give people a better understanding of the site and what coins are coming in the future.
  10. It looks like everything went well so I am posting the link for the site now. I am only offering 50 of my coins at this time. CacheCoinsOnline
  11. I do. Our group represents cachers from WV, and it's the only organized group from WV so far. I know there is a yahoo group for WV Geocachers, but not sure about their level of organization. Our group is working on a design for an organizational coin and should be out around Jan-Feb timeframe.
  12. Ok, emails have been sent. I would appreciate any feedback about the order process and any problems you may have experienced. This way I can fix the problems and get this off the ground.
  13. Alright, I will send out emails shortly and we'll see how it goes.
  14. I need about three people who are interested in purchasing a Kilted Cacher Coin to help me test out my new purchase site. The site will be the future home of the holiday coin series (prefix HC), which started with the Christmas 2005 coin, plus some other upcoming organization and state coins. Just post here about your interest and I'll send you the web address. I want to limit this to just 3 people at this time to work the bugs out and see how it goes.
  15. If you have a paypal account they will get your addy on the payment email Good! I can't begin to imagine the headache if they had to track down everyone's addy.
  16. Mt Everest (Bronze and Silver), Thanksgiving (Bronze and Silver), Christmas-nielsec (Bronze and Silver), Caching Around the World (Bronze and Silver)
  17. paid for my 2 coins, but paypal didn't ask for a shipping address. Might be a problem tracking this later.
  18. I wouldn't trade a coin for a poker chip. Some chips are very nicely done and I wouldn't mind having some of them, but metal coins are the prize and have been for a few thousand years. I also notice that a lot of people send their poker chips along with their coins as an added bonus.
