This is very cool news! I've used Geopher Lite a couple of times when I didn't have the Garmin and it worked okay. Can't wait to try this app once it gets posted on iTunes.

I just used WebUpdater (Mac OS X) on my Venture HC and all is well. I did get an error message at first but hit the Try Again button and it completed the update. Still have the same waypoints.

Same scenario with the iPhone 3G here. Went ahead and ordered the Garmin eTrex Venture HC yesterday based on the information from Garmin's site: http://www8.garmin.com/macosx/ We'll see how well the Mac software works with the unit once it arrives in a week or so...
