  1. I'm getttin' a new gpsmap 60c, but I ain't new to geocaching! Merry Christmas!
  2. It sure sounds faulty, unless you live in a cave. Serously though, it sounds faulty, a new gps shouldn't take more that 10 minutes to lock on sattelites. I suggest exchanging it or getting it repaired. I think your problem in a broken internal intenna.
  3. Are we not allowed to see who is watching our own cache? I think we have the right to know.
  4. I always take: -GPSr (DUH!) -Coumpass -Camera -Pocket Knife -Swag -Money -A Micro Cache, just in case

  8. May I point out that there is a link on the "Hide & Seek Caches" page that will take you to the USPS site to find zip codes.
  9. I don't know if this will chane things but try filling out their online form. I already have. Maybe if a lot of us suggest that it shouldn't be blocked, they will un-block it. Suggestion Form
  10. It's blocked at my school as well. I have a computer class at the end of the day and when I'm done with my assignments, I like to surf the site. Just last Tuesday, it started blocking me out. Bummer......

  12. How do you get multiple Cache pages on 1 sheet? I agree with him.."Doesn't that make your eyes go ??
  13. I suggest a Garmin Legend. That unit is the cheapest unit w/ basemaps. If you want streetmaps as well, you need to buy additional software from Garmin.
  14. Any reccomendations or suggestions? I want to get one with street maps.
  15. If we bring this amazing record to their attention, I think they should put it in there. 246 finds in 24 hours. I've only found 191 in 10 months! Your opinions?
  16. The easiest way to find a cache w/o having a GPS is to use an Arial photo or topographical map and a compass. I know someone who found over 500 caches w/o a gps. I've done it a couple of times. It's fun when it's not in a forested area.
