I need to put a few caches up for adoption: On the Road to Evil (GCHNRG) King Arthur Digs In (GCHHH5) Depot Lite (GCHEBY) We don't have enough car seats in the van to take all 5 children with us to Boise, so these are the 3 we decided to leave behind. I hope they go to a good home, with caring, loving parents. Just trying to be poactive about our abandoned caches. Cabbie

I am moving away from the area, I have placed caches and I am handing over the maintenance to a fellow cacher. My question is do I disable the caches, so they can enable them? Do I just keep them listed in my stats and my fellow cacher puts them on his watch list? What is the "standard" thing to do?

A micro in my area is getting to be the dog collar ID capsules. If you are not familiar with those, they are just larger than a pencil eraser (including the metal retaining ring). Try finding one of those out in the woods.

Ah, thats a good idea--CITO as a good disguise. Like it! We really as new cachers don't really know what the protocol is about being inconspicuous. I need to look up a thread on that. A cache we visited, we were last to see it, and as new cachers, I feel terrible. I hope we weren't the ones to give it away
