I like to use the new Rayovac I-C3 rechargeables that can recharge in 15 minutes, with special charger. They are about the same quality as Duracell/Energizer for a cheaper price. I got 4 for $10, thats $2.50 each. If you pay say $5 for 8 energizer, thats 62.5 cents each, when you use your rechargeables 4 times, you start saving money. Just make sure the maH value is above 2000 maH.

Are there any caches along I-75(south of Tampa)/Alligator Alley that anyone knows of? Please post

I picked up a travel bug from "memory lane :tampa 1" cache on 3/17/04. In the cache was a mini cooper little car, with the number "17602" painted on the top with silver nail polish. Does anyone know who owns this, or what its objectives are??

Isn't the exchange rate of the Bahamas the same as that of the US? I think it is the same. -

Which Came First, Your Gps Or Geocaching?
inventorjg replied to Cherokeecacher's topic in General geocaching topics
For me it was geocaching. I had found out about geocaching, and found 1 cache without a GPS, that night I ordered one!!! Will I upgrade? Probably not, because the one I have now gets the job done. -
From 33618, Tampa FL=161 From where I used to live in Villa Rica GA (West of Atlanta GA)=43, pretty sad huh

For the math buffs: Take the integral of 2x from 0 to 4, then add 1 to your answer. -
Today while out caching with my Dad, I wanted to get a reading of how far we had to go. It said something like 1 mile, when it had just said .19 miles. Then I looked at the "mph" reading, and it said 28.1 mph and I was standing still! That was weird! It was probably something messes up with the sats. Post your weirdest experiences with a GPS...

392, but we have the bay, soooooo.

I would keep it's entirety, because the person that put in there, knows that there is a chance of it winning.

I think this is perfectly fine if it has 1200 finds, all they need to do now is a Yellow Jeep II.

C'mon, ...can you beat a 15 minute recharge?

Well, plot the points. Then, using the law of cosines. Notation: a2=a squared a2=b2+c2-2bc(cosA) therefore, a squared is equal to b squared plus c squared minus two times b times c times cosine of angle A. You will find the measure of one angle. Then, using that angle use the next eqn: sinA/a=sinB/b=sinC/c therefore, sine of angle B divided by side b is equal to ..... You will find the measure of each angle. Divide each angle by two( to find the middle) Then, go out to the site, using a compass, and do it manually from there.
