    ...I won an ipod a few months ago and I hate the battery in it....If I dont use it for like 2 days, its dead and I have to charge...

    COMPLETELY off topic, but... something is wrong with your iPod. If fully charged to begin with, it should be able to sit unused for weeks without any noticeable drop in charge level. Mine does.

    It should be noted that it is an ipod mini....ive heard things about how they arnt very good on batt life....but really though to be honest, I really don't care...If it goes bad, i'm gonna take it apart and play around..........Sorry for the OT...........it does fit though, somewhat.....

    It actually makes me mad that people support this and buy GPS's with these proprietary batteries. All you are doing is supporting the GPS companies to charge you more and more money for replacement parts and maintenance! And there arent even benefits to using them!!

     

    That being said, I dont encourage you to get an explorist 500 or 600. If you really need a color screen, check out Garmin's 60cs or 60c. They both use AA batteries and they last almost twice as long. You wont be buying something that could leave you in a potentially bad situation out hiking somewhere, and you wont be supporting the ever increasing trend these days to make everything with sealed rechargeable batteries!

    Kinda off topic, but I do agree..I want to be able to change my batts if they die...I won an ipod a few months ago and I hate the battery in it....If I dont use it for like 2 days, its dead and I have to charge, where as if they just used AA's I culd just change and listen...I mean im not really complaining too much since it was free. :rolleyes:

    Air is a gateway drug...food is a gateway drug...saying that pot is a gateway drug is just the media and our special friends in the whitehouse brainwashing you....think about if you have never smoked pot before...of course you are going to think its evil and will make you get into hard drugs....Its just not that fact...I have never wanted to smoke crack/meth/etc because I smoke pot...What about coffee?...how many of you NEED your coffee before you go to work, go caching, ETC.....? All caffine products are bad for you...You crash and need more......anyway this post is too long....Sorry for the ramble...

    Even if you think that pot isn't dangerous, you still have to report it.  I'm guessing that you are in an area where marijuanna is illegal.  Based on this fact alone you have to call the police.  It is the moral duty of every good citizen to report illegal/criminal behaviour.  If you saw a bank being robbed you would report it.  Growing pot plants and robbing banks are on the same level as far as the law is concerned, they are both illegal.

     

    To those that will make suggestions about karma to me.........I'm sorry I don't believe in karma.

    Well, I don't call the authorities and report every person who exceeds the speed limit or fails to use their turn signal (and there are many on my work commute!)

     

    I agree with both the "live and let live" post, the "do what you feel is right" posts (which you already did).

     

    Also, please continue to geocache. Geocaching will take you to interesting and fun places that you never knew existed.

    Speed limits contrary to what most people believe is subject to the road conditions. Although speeding is a crime, it certainly ISN'T a crime that comes close to growing marijuana - depending on where you live. I believe the seriousness of the crime is based on how much is being grown. If somoene needs to grow it out in the middle of nowhere, you can bet they are growing it with the idea of selling it for more than personal use.

     

    The live and let live idea is just ridiculous. Imagine using this philosophy in other situations like say... racism or necrophilia. Actually necrophillia is an perfect example to compare pot to. Both can be argued to be victimless or something that doesn't hurt anybody else. Should you as a citizen IGNORE this crime?

     

    If you come across a crop of pot and it is illegal where you live, report it to the local authorities. Chances are the cops will come in and remove the pot and that would be the end of it. If the pot grower is stupid enough fight over his crop, he deserves to be tossed in jail.

     

    Cachers only need to consider a few things when going out to a cache:

     

    1) Is this a place where I would want other to go?

    2) If you see a problem, fix it - if you're not - call on someone who is

    3) If you see something that other cachers should know prior to going to a cache site post your findings

    4) It is alway better to be safe than sorry

    Ummm having sex with dead people and growing/smoking pot is way different....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAhAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

    I had a cache that I placed some time ago and archived it, how can I make this cache happen again? Just name it something different and make a new one? Or somehow keep the old one and update it??? I want to change whats inside, because that was the cache...If you can see what i'm talking about I mean my 11:11 cache.....Oh also can I change the name.....This is going to be a cool cache...it will be an audio cache..What I mean by that is there will be a microcassette recorder in there as the log...there is also a log book for people who dont want to record....I think it will be neat.....Anyway thakns for the help!!
