Thank you!!! Thank you!!! Thank you!!! Thank you!!! I'll take 12 again of the 2006 Indiana coins. Should I Paypal a deposit to the same e-mail?? Thanks again! David DnrDmr
  3. So sorry for the delay in responding, between vacations and traveling for work and other summer activities I have neglected my geocaching... but never fear, we do still want our $50 coins. Money sent via pay-pal today Thanks for your patience. DnrDmr David and Donna
  4. We to are hooked (stuck, addicted… ) on this cache. We have bought at least 2 books on crypts and ciphers and borrowed several others . I personally have been up way to late (like 3 am) for a work night on many occasions trying to figure this one out. Mrs. Got the first part in about an hour, the rest is driving us crazy!! Thanks for the cache precious! David DnrDmr
  5. Love the design Rupert2! We vote for numbering (it's a collector thing, not tracking) Place the year on the side that will change and use each of the Indian themes each year... i.e. covered bridge with Gx now, Indy car with Gx next year etc. The new theme could be voted on here or at a Geo-picnic… In any case put us down for $50! Many thanks to all who are working to put this together!!! Wish I had an artistic bone in my body... DnrDmr
  6. Policy and permit application are here. http://www.in.gov/dnr/ DnrDmr PS: Thanks Ruper2 for ISQs 140, 141, 151 & 152. Had the pleasure of doing all 4 today!
  7. Any chance the Charlestown SP caches can be made virtual? Having the finders post a pic of the old hiding spot... Just a question. David DnrDmr Edit - Correct typo.
  8. The state of Indiana has new DNR regulations that greatly reduce the amount of caches in our state parks and forests. They even now require us to apply for permits. In a case in Charlestown State Park in southern IN. The local ranger has removed all of the caches. This link is to the Midwest forum "A sad day in Charlestown ...". maybe there is new state legislation in your state too. http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=92966 IMHO David DnrDmr
  9. I too am a ‘lurker’ on the forums BUT I must admit I am very upset over this issue. (Especially since I just learned about this and just this weekend placed a micro in Angle Mounds.) We will most likely buy our annual park pass this year but if this Bulletin is enforced in all parks with the same vigor as Charlestown SP, we will not be back. We too will take our state park pass buying, map purchasing, CITO, stopping for dinner locally money out of state. My biggest fear is that local governments will get wind of this and implement it in city parks. I can just see financially strapped city park departments charging a fee for the permit to place a cache. Enough for now, I’m off to write a letter to my State Congressman, State Senator and ‘That Guy Mitch’ IMHO David - - DnrDmr PS: Please note DNR are my initials and I am in no way affiliated with "The DNR"
