When I visited there and got the smiley several months ago I saw a lot of road equipment parked near by. back hoes etc... is it possible it is a worker that will eventually move on? I don't now this location is isolated! It is obviously the same person as they keep putting concrete in the hole. The whole BS with the reviewer makes me angry.. he will not allow it to be a micro or whatever... why the hell does he have any say about someone else's cache? To follow the rules of publishing etc yes... to determine if it changes to a different container?! NO! What happens with this cache is like any other it is up to the owner. Chris

I have so many questions in regards to the challenges... they all revolve around why! Why won't they give us an explanation as to what the real reason is they just trashed the whole thing. Why the hell did they get rid of my stats in regards to the challenges. I did a lot of work to accomplish some of them as in props for the photos etc... The way this has come across is "Screw you your just the customer we do what we do for a reason and you don't need to know why we make decisions". I have emailed the Groundspeak office and just got replies like "Thanks for your input" another time "you know you can post on the forums as they are monitored." I would like a discourse on this freaking issue but I am not getting any response. "The Frog has spoken peasants premium members or not you have no say in any of this" I am especially pissed off about my data being deleted! WHY!??? Chris

When the host company of your geocaching website company just decides to delete a feature that you enjopy very much and remove all traces of it. Even after you have worked very hard to complete a lot of this feature... These folks SUCK!!! That's my pet peeve...

Same person is selling more of them! $80 this time! Amazing geocachers collecting these things and profiting from it. I am a little sick!

Perhaps a way to handle this is turn off these features to the non premium members? I pay my dues every year and I want my dang maps back! They can call me unreasonable but not having enough band width or not keeping up with growth is not an acceptable answer to your customers! This is very frustrating and there is not a whole lot I can do about it. However further stuff like this over time will make the other geocaching sites more viable all the time.

I have tried this last night and again this morning. I need the file for a trip I wish to do this morning! Why teh hel is this not working?! This is frustrating! I have submitted it more than once and it shows in "my pocket quiries and "never generated". I have done this beofreo and it worked. SOmtimes took a few minutes to get to my email but this appears to be completely not working!

I love it. It is always fun to put the cache name with a face. I have meet caches many times at teh cache and latter seen them at local functions and friendship is started. So far a great group of folks without exception. Chris

I found one in my local public library which was coordinated by the placer with the library. Itw as a multi that had to be solved etc then you got to the final and had to do a search on the library database.. I wont' give anymore away. But after the search it actually had its own dewey decimal number etc. (On a referance shelf) Was very cool! Chris

Can someone tell me if they have had contact with anyone from teh site lately? I emailed a request for my activation codes about a week ago per teh instructions from this post and have heard nothing. I recent teh request last night. This makes me nervous when teh website just says its down including teh contact info on the site is not there anymore! Makes me very nervous! Just saying! I have a groupd of coind from them that have no codes yet! Please respond and let us know what is happening? I stand corrected there is an email address I guess I will try that. Chris

While I'm glad it's not just me this is one time where having company is unfortunate. There was a heated exchange off the forums between me and the owner of C&P over the pre-sale practice so I thought my account was being singled out. This is one of the reasons I find pre-sales dangerous. Something happens to the vendour or the vendour site and no one knows anything until it's too late and you've been screwed. While the Compass roses have only just started shipping, apparently I would wait another day for shipping notices. However I would encourage anyone who has paid for coins from C&P in the past month and not received anything yet to at least check your account and make sure your order is on the books. If it isn't Aaron needs to be informed of it. the site does not even recognize my email! I have ordered many times... HMMM??????

To forgo the being a jerk fit as some would perciev it. This is unacceptable! Tell me why I should purchase from you again if you have no way for me to activate my coins when I want to, like the arrangemnet was when I in good faith purchased the coins! Again I am trying to be patient but I had a situation I wanted to drop a coin this morning for a special cache that had been placed and I am still waiting for the dang activation code! Not acceptable! What will you be doing for your customers when and if this gets fixed? Hey cpine. I can sense your frustration, but honestly even Groundspeak has gone down a few times in the last year. Many of the other sites have also gone down during the past year at some point or another and that is the nature of technology. I am sure C&P is more frustrated than you as they have probably lost a significant amount of business during the holiday season because of this. However, he has a backup in place for activations and has posted that on this forum and on facebook... so you will be able to activate your coin. By the way why not provide the stupid activation code when you mail it to me! ? Would that not forgo this problem? Also I do hot have them subscribed on facebook and I don't frequent the forums that often so I did not know anything about this problem until I went to get my activation code and found out this had been happening for almost two weeks.

I share you alls frustration! This is not rocket science for folks to move them along! TB"S included. WHy would anyone want some of the stuff I have made into a TB?! It is not expensive or anything like that. SOme people are just jerks and may they reap what they sow. One situation I encountered was I had a TB just out of the reach of its goal. I was informed by the cahce owner that there was a local cacher they suspected of stealing traveleables. He logs a find and then teh traveleables are all gone yet not logged out of the cahces. Long story short I can see very clearly many factors that could lead to a reasonable conclusion that he is stealing them! I believe he is even though no proof. WHY!? He is just asn a**! thats why! Nothing anyone can do about it but so goes society! It is a shame but I will still participate and relse stuff with best hopes of happy travels. I am very conscious of where I place traveleables now as well. If I would not release my own there I don't release anyone elses either!
