I found that Garmins don't like JPEGs in grayscale mode. The emulator was showing them correctly, but they were totally distorted on my Oregon. After converting them to 32bit RGB they were displayed ok on my Oregon. So be cautious: don't use grayscale mode.

I don't understand how to deal with items. I have created an item and moved it into a zone. When I enter this zone I have this item in my "You see" list. But how can I take this item to my inventory? I created an item command "Take me" and attached a script "move item to player" to this command. I have set this command active, but nothing happens. When I select this item, there is no button that let's me select this command. How do I make this command appear on the item screen???? It would help a lot if I could download the source for the Player tutorial, but I cannot access this source. ("You do not have access to this download.")
