The owner of the TB, the owner of the cache and a friendly volunteer reviewer all have the power to "mark bug missing" which moves it to "Unknown Location" and get's it off the cache listing page without adding mileage. The option is all ready available in the upper right of a Travel Bug page, when TB owner/cache owner/friendly volunteer reviewer (I would assume as I don't have a way of personally verifying this) is logged in. It's an option in the drop down menu. Not a very well documented or accessible option though but it's there. KA Approver/Reviewer comments on the TB option...

Yeah I've seen it come up before. Probably not high priority, but another suggestion sure couldn't hurt. Plus more than one click gives your finger more excersise. EDITED: I need to make sure what forum I'm in, get's me in trouble everytime!

If you only write a NOTE (maybe just without the secret #?) on a travel bug it shows up on the long list, but doesn't show up in your Travel Bug stats. Could this be the problem?

Looks like you have tried everything and have even referenced the Travel bug the right way, without giving away the secret code, using the Public "TB####" number, for that I have to congratulate you on your first TB find and handling disclosure properly! Sounds like you've tried everything... Entering the WHOLE code plus "JP" prefix No switching of char's : "O" (letter Oh's) for "Ø" (number Zero) Trying it a few times : sometimes the site spits it back at you You could trying contacting contact@Groundspeak.com with appropriate subject and detailes to get it routed correctly? Good luck! I know it doesn't help much but you deserve a pat on the back.

Somebody with better knowledge may fill in but... But like you said Buckshot was racing (crashing?) the #44 in 2001 Also the #44 is owned by Petty Enterprises and has been raced by Buckshot, Nadeu and some others that I can't remember right now. (WHOOPS POSTED BY FAMILY TEAM OF MRCOGEO)
