  7. Ok Im not crazy and leaving Geocaching, I wanted to change my Geo-name and created another account with the name I want to use. Now I realize I dont want to lose the caches I have found or the caches I have hid. I read that since I created this new account that now I cant change Boyscout64 to the new name. Any suggestions?
  8. I live in Cook county Illinois and I need to know if there is a Cook county Geocache application that I need to turn in to hide a cache in a Cook county forest preserve. I know I need one for Will county but I cant locate one for Cook County.

  10. I was looking at this Pocket PC application and was wondering if anyone is using it and if its any good.
  11. My Geo-name comes from an insult to me when the movie "The Last Boyscout" came out. I really liked it and the name stuck. The 64 comes from the year I was born in. I shortened it to Boyscout cause Im sure Im not the last one.
  12. Sounds good to me, how can I pay you and to where do I send it? Rick Webber
  13. I had a handheld Magellan eXplorist 210 but didnt know what to do with it so it just sat in my closet. My girlfriends sister came over one day after finding her first cache. She explained it all and I went out and found my first one. And the rest is history.
  14. On my honor, I will do my best..... to not derail this angst free thread by commenting any further on your post. After many years of being away from Scouting, I'm now an assistant den leader for my nephews Wolf den. When I was a young lad I wanted to be in boyscouts but my dad didnt give a flip. I earned the Boyscout nickname from my co workers. I would still say that the Boyscouts are fantastic for young boys and it builds great character.
  15. I was out using my HCx and when I was approaching the area that the cache was in I noticed that the pointer on my GPSr wasnt moving at all. I found the cache but the pointer kept on pointing in the opposite direction. I moved around but still no movement. Anyone have any idea why this was? My trusty eXplorist 210's pointer always moved to point me in the right direction.
  16. Please close this post. Item is no longer for sale.

Looking for $185.00 that includes shipping to anywhere in the continental USA. Ill also throw in a Palm Zire 21 Palm PDA for paperless caching.
  18. Ok I have seen this sig item in a few caches in the Northern Illinois area, its 3 small skulls on a strand of plastic line. Whose is it?
  19. I have a mint condition Magellan eXplorist 210 for sale. I have the cord, cd and box. Make me a deal
  20. Are we talking about the caches weblog or paperlog in the cache?
  21. In my area KroBro is pretty popular, at least my daughter (PrincessPea) thinks so. He got to 3 caches before us so anytime we find one she makes me check to see if hes been there yet.
