Thanks this has cleared the issue for me. I just found a FAQ that instructs some one adding a cache on how to do this. Your answer has been a great help.

I have been down loading cache sites directly to my new Garmin Oregon which was working quite well until my last download. I down loaded "Take a Hike - On the Blue & White Trail" GC122v5. I received the site in my Geocache menu but it also created 4 waypoints in my waypoint list. They are listed as follows:PK122V5,ST122V5,VILLAGE,Blue & White. This has never occured with my other downloads. When I go into the Oregon and look at the files all it lists are the files that are the normal GC----- files. I was wondering why this download added these to my waypoint list. The file locations are within .1 miles of each other. Is this some added feature by the creator of the cache?
