  1. I'm a picnic dog!!! Will there be hot dogs???
  2. I'll go. Do you like little white dogs that don't smell bad?
  3. For all of you planning on hiking the trails at Little Turtle Beach during BAGO BASH, to find the NEW I helped hide this morning caches, be advised the trails are muddy this time of year--so dress accordingly--(no flip flops or tu-tu's)
  4. About 50 of us went on TrailMix 12 with Deermark and Daggy...Perfect Day!
  5. I vote no too. You are too defensive. Only Indiana folks will chit-chat with you, and you seem to be playing right into their hands...
  6. What does this website say? Let's quote it: "Illinois ranks a poor 34th in the literacy rate among the 50 states. " (emphasis added) Of course you're not bragging about being 34th out of 50. BTW, you don't have to live near somebody to chat with them... Think before you post...
  7. help me. they're flaming me over in the "How come there isn't a thread for Illinois Cachers?" thread.
  8. Help them Bret! They're arguing with a pee-brained dog and losing! I've never won an argument with a human before! By the way, Lead Dog hid a really cool Waterfall cache today while GEOCACHING IN INDIANA and USAF#1 found a ammo can cache that was archived and presumed missing for two years!!!
  9. Ok, How about meeting at the parking lot near this cache, 2006 Spring Picnic Cache say around 9:30ish? There are a couple of newer caches in that area as well as a couple of water falls I wanted to get some pictures of. I had planned to stay on the North end of the Reservoir. Just look at the 3-29-08 bookmark list I have on the above cache. I really don't plan on getting all the caches I have on the bookmark list, just being prepared. And I agree with Leaddog, mud will be the word of the day. Anyone else is welcome to come along as well. Email if you have questions. See you Saturday. Chris-Team Shydog Ps. Pack a lunch or some snacks and we will find a place to rest between caches. I want to place a cache at Patrick's Waterfalls #2: Twin Waterfalls (archived)--It's the third best waterfalls in the area--.4 miles from the waterfall cache at the CCC shelter, if it's on the itinerary) --and for lunch Lagro Cafe is always an option--Breaded Temderloins as big around as volleyballs (when they have them, which is mostly never) and homemade rhubarb pie...) Be sure to bring extra socks and tennis shoes to wear on your ride home. PS. Buddaman can't make it due to the mud and the fact that nobody manufactures boots big enuff for his feet... Area forecast: Mostly sunny, highs in the upper 40's, east winds 5 to 10 mph. Ok, How about meeting at the parking lot near this cache, 2006 Spring Picnic Cache say around 9:30ish? Chris-Team Shydog OK, so we'll see you guys tomorrow. we may be a few minutes late, LD has an appointment at 9:00 in Huntington to rough a guy up a little,( you know, once you're connected, you have to come at their beck and call to do favors...) then if we stop for donuts... Waterfalls here we come. Update: 48 degrees high and partly sunny dress for mud! Everybody come!!!

  14. July 14, 2003 by Earthdog Patrick (598 found) My first cache. Transferring log to my separate account. July 14, 2003 by SixDogTeam (1260 found) Was beginning to think this was not to be. Got all packed up and ready to go, and the heater core let loose, so a trip to autozone, a darn near complete frame-off restoration of the front of the truck and seven hours later to replace it, only a few parts left over, these things never go back together right; then the road (Dam) over Huntington Lake was closed, take another route; THEN batteries go dead in GPS'r, and spares are dented (how?--Did heater core fall on them?); stop at truck stop, mortgage farm to buy truck stop batteries, and on to the Cache!!! Peculiar things: Found almost full can of bug spray hidden in a bush and, wierdly, two pairs of white female panties, within fifteen feet of cache--One within three feet, altitude six feet. I don't know what THATS all about. Had to stand back and think about this one for a moment, then it came to me in a flash of inspiration. No muggles will ever find this one by accident!! NO. 12 for the Dogs, secon First To Find. (Lead Dog and Earth Dog - #12) DUMAS FAMILY GEOCACHERS FUN INDEX: A++ Patrick Methodist Park Bench
