  1. This looks like a possible Banter Project!
  2. Unless, of course, you are a San Diego Muggle!
  3. Ummmm, hehe, I'll email you my address! Thanks!!
  4. You mean the coin? I may have one for you. I will have to check. Paul I don't think it was a coin, it was shaped like the logo above. I have the coin. I don't think the medallion was trackable. Maybe I'm mis-remembering?
  5. Does anyone have a San Diego Geocachers medallion to sell? The kind that looks like this: I want to get one for the SDCET TB. Thanks!
  6. In general, those usually get resolved by muggles
  7. Congrats to Habu! for 1100! Wasn't it just yesterday you were at 1000?!?
  8. I put them in Tastes Great, Less Filling. Still not sure what the idea is - someday I'll read back through the threads and figure it out!
  9. Now that we are at the "top of the page", it might be a good time to remind people of the details of the two (?) events tomorrow!
  10. Only if you Photoshop it up there! Dave is that you way up there? There's fun and there's crazy. I wish you all luck who try to straddle that line!
  11. I assume you tried emailing Yuckster? Good luck - she's very cute!
  12. "This is frightening me out of my skull, which is now empty. If I had anything in it I wouldn't be doing this!" "I paid ten dollars to do this! 'Hi, here's ten dollars; I'd like to die. Thanks!'" Great video Dave! Lion's Back not for seesies? Let me see now, the freefall equations are .... But how do you account for bounces? Thanks for the link RocketMan. Was it Parsa and who else did that climb last year? Looking forward to seeing the red Rubi' on that climb. Wonder if I could walk it? You could always try this technique. Ok, you guys have really got me freaked out now!!! Wonder if he learned anything? Actually, the first thought thru my mind was that she really did quite an incredible job. I'd probably have bounced off the high side of the cliff.

  14. Very nice! Funny how a red rubicon looks at home just about anywhere!
  15. Is that another Fox Paw on my part? I thought that was Dave's Red Rubicon. Did Flagman get one too? Good gosh, I can't believe I did that. Well, it had to be one of those *man characters.
  16. Okay . . . how's this? TFTC, that is a great pic! P.S to Miragee - how did you mask the jeep in Corel Paint? (that's what I have too). I did it the hard way with the mask brush. Unfortunately, my shadow ended up at the bottom of Lake Powell!
  17. Shoot - I did something wrong! D'oh! The parking brake!

I brought this up a couple months ago - didn't seem to go anywhere though. I'm glad you brought it up again since I'd like to see it happen.
  19. Here's are some "behind the scenes" shots:
  20. So we're meeting at N32 42.732 W116 48.969 at 9am? Just checking because those coords are a bit hard on my ol' eyes!
  21. I probably would - I haven't had a chance to scope them out yet, but as I haven't found any down there yet, that shouldn't be a problem! I'd probably have to leave around that time as well. If anyone still wants to do this, where and when would we meet? I am still planning on it. I was going for somewhere between 7-8. I only have a few left to do with one of them being about a .2 hike. I won't be able to look into exactly which caches till around 10 tonight but I believe the first one I need would be the TB Hotel. Let me know later - I have a couple of mtn bikes in the back of the truck that could make some of those caches practically park and grabs.

  24. OK see you at 9AM. It is supposed to be 76 and sunny on Saturday in Jamul! Hmm, that looks kid-bike-rideable via Google Earth - can anyone who's been there let me know if that's the case? It is bike-rideable for the downhill portions . . . Seriously, "lostguy" and Jahoadi and John have ridden their mountain bikes up and down the trails. Edit to add the appropriate quote . . . Yes..much of it is rideable..but lots is pushable only. I couldn't make it up all those hills. The downhill makes it all worthwhile though so it's your call. I think Chuy also does it on a bike. If you ever do Sloane Canyon caches they are a blast on a bike too...the WHOLE way..park at the start of Sloane Canyon Road and ride the whole way. ( 12 mile round trip)The last few miles going out is hilly and windy but coming down it is FUN!!! r/ jodi Looks like the kids can't make it anyway, but I'm going to see if I can - maybe I'll bring a couple of bikes just to check it out. Thanks for the info!
