On another forum someone suggested that I try a master reset. I didn't know about that but now my unit appears to be working so I am set I hope. Lee What are you looking at spending? I have a unit, but the card took a dump on me. The eMap works fine, but I am having a hard time finding a data card for it that is not more than what I paid for the reciever. I may just sell the unit...not sure yet.

My Emap died and it is easier to stick with what I had. I could just buy one on Ebay but thought I would check here first. Lee

I too saw a fawn a couple of years ago while geocaching. I only found it because I was looking at my GPSr and not where I was going and almost stepped on it. I didn't have my camera with me. But the fawn did what it is supposed to do, stayed right where it was. I went home and got the camera and came back which took more than a half hour. I then took a bunch of pictures while it stayed right there. Another cacher who came by later also saw it. I was worried about getting head butted by the mother so I didn't stay long. Lee

I have an older Garmin unit that connects with a serial cable. The test page worked. The coordinate download works with I.E. but not FireFox. My coordinates seem correct. Lee

The comment is right that the marks may be wooden stakes long gone. Check all four corners. Some time three corners are wooden stakes and the forth is a stone with a mark or something more pernanent. Lee
