  1. Our son's geo-coin (Jeremy's USA Geo-Coin) has been sitting in a cache (GCDE00) for AGES (Nov. 2005). We would really appreciate someone, anyone retrieving it and sending it on it's way.

    Can you help??

    Thanks in advance,

  2. I would be happy to trade a 2004 California Geo-Coin (new, never in the wild) for a Pierce County, Washington geo-coin. OR I would be willing to purchase one from you.

My great-grandfather was the first Mayor of Steilacoom and helped establish Pierce County.

Please email me through my profile page.

    Thanks in advance

  4. If you can get away from town, most people that come to the area make a point of finding the Project A.P.E. cache. There are very few of these caches left and there is a lot of distance between them. It will give you a different kind of cache icon 9.gif for your profile. The preferred approach to this particular A.P.E. cache is via a 2-mile long tunnel which makes it extra cool. I've done it both on foot and on a bike. If your kids aren't afraid of the dark, they'll love it!

That looks SUPER COOL! Thanks for the info.

  5. :)We are going to be visitng the Seattle area and want to do some caches. We are a family of 4 with 2 adults and 2 children (boys 7&9).

Can you reccommend some fun caches? We love caches that have some history behind them.

Any help would be appreciated. You can either post the name here or email us at CindeeQ@charter.net

    Thanks in advance

  6. I have a Garmin-Rino 110 2-way radio and personal navigator for sale. Included with the GPS is the quick start guide, owner's manual and reference guide plus cable to download waypoints. It has one end for the computer, a cigarette lighter adapter and plug for the unit itself. The only thing that I can see is missing is the little flap that goes over the cable plug on the back, not sure if it had one.

I bought this on ebay and thought that we would love it, well we carry a Garmin Map76 which we like lots better.

I can email pictures if anyone is interested.

Shipping will be by USPS priority mail.

    Thanks for looking. :o

  7. I want to be able to have it show me the logs as they are on the regular computer. I am tired of printing off so many pages and then just throwing them out. (Save the trees)

I do apologize I was told that a PDA and a pocket pc are two different things!

  8. Cujo,

We have only been caching since November 2003 and have a Garmin GPSMAP76 which in my humble opinion is the best on the market. It is a little expensive but worth the money. You can download the coords into the unit via cable that is included and the maps are great!

I borrowed the Garmin rino 110 from a friend (because we need a second GPS, two obsessed geocachers and one unit does not work  ) I do not like the rino it does not have near as much fun features as the map76.

Good luck in your search! I have noticed that watching ebay is a little expensive. I've seen the map76 go for between  25 and 50 dollars  more that we paid for ours. We picked it up at Wal-Mart. Not my favorite store, but you can't beat the prices.

Mrs Ellenbarger of the Ellenbarger Crew

P.S. We needed to send the map76 to Garmin in Kansas (we are in California  ) because one of the tines broke on the back. They received it on a Tuesday and I had it in my hot hands on Friday afternoon of the same week. They have EXCELLENT customer service.

    Good luck!!
