Well, after going on on few caching trips (11 found) my wife and I are definitely hooked, so now we're going to dive in head first. Ordered the data cable for my Yellow eTrex and we're excited to take our first all-day cache hunting vacation.
Anyways, we're trying to put together a backback to take geocaching with us, and was wondering what we should put in it. Here's what we've come up with so far, but I do have some specific questions.
We'll obviously have our cell phone and GPS, but in addition, we're packing this stuff:
1) Camera
2) Some clothes (dry socks...etc)
3) Trash bags for CITO
4) Extra batteries for GPS
5) Printouts from gc.com for the caches we're hunting (not going paperless yet)
6) Chapstick / Gum / Water
7) First Aid kit.
8) Pen and pencil for signing logs.
9) Items for trade
We also want to put together a cache repair kit, but we're not really sure what we should put in it. What's a good list of items for a cache repair kit?
Also, are there any other items that we might be missing that you think we should take with us?
