Good morning - I just replaced my gasket and tape! It wasn't too bad. The worst part was cleaning off the old goo material. Mine seemed to go on pretty easily - I got the old tape off, cleaned up the bed as best as I could, then just lined up the holes along the side and worked my way around the case. I have played a little with the unit since, and everything seems good. Good luck! SingerGuy!

I, too, had this issue - my black band started getting sticky and leaving black goo on my hand... I wrote an email to customer service at Garmin, and was surprised to get a response within a day or two saying they would mail out a new band and a double-sided tape to put it on. There weren't any instructions with the parts, but it seemed pretty self-explanatory. I hope they will be able to help you as well - SingerGuy
