  1. I've also seen this problem and I'm sure that the "Include GSAK extra fields" checkbox wasn't checked when I did the export... The problem seems to appear after a while. First I was able to navigate to a cache but after a few hours I couldn't see the arrow when trying to navigare to the very same cache. Also the problem seems so become worse the longer you use the GPS. At first there were only a few caches that was "broken" but some hours later I was unable to navigare to almost every cache... The quick'n'dirty solutions seems to be to connect the GPS to a computer and delete the temporary files... I deleted "Temp", "Current" and "Archive" in \Garmin\GPX and renamed the GPX file that came from GSAK. Then all caches worked again... Regards B1N4RY I had exactly the same issues when trying to route to caches over the weekend. When I deleted the PQ on the 400t and sent it again, it worked perfectly, at least for the time being. 2. I used Navigator NT on the 400t for the first time yesterday and noticed that the beep tones when approacing a turn is not very loud. With the radio on it was barely audible. Is the loudness a user definition or is it a software issue. I needs to be louder. Anniebananie
  3. DST automatically updated on my 400t. Anniebananie
  4. I did a test yesterday with a 400t loaded with new Duracell 2650 rechargeable batteries. I traveled 3.5 hours RT to the cache, spent 3.5 hours caching and then left the GPSr on until the backlighting went out. I had WAAS on and the backlighting on at full capacity for the whole time. The backlighting shut off just shy of 12.5 hours. No complaints here. The SN is 36XX and it has an M chip and 4GB. Anniebananie
  5. Both of us having been bitten by ticks we will not cache without wearing gaitors as well as the other protection briansnat suggests. We wear them both summer and winter. The strange looks we get are better that getting re-infected with lyme disease. Anniebananie
  6. The 400t comes preloaded with Topo 2008. There seems to be no way to transfer the Topo from the GPSr to your PC. Does this mean that in order to to have Topo on your PC you will have to purchase the DVD even though you have the license by having purchased the 400t. Anniebananie
  7. Any timeline yet on the ability to filter out caches already found? Anniebananie
  8. Can you get an upgrade from v.5 to v.7 for $75?
  9. Johnny Appleseed (John Chapman) Was born 9/26/1774, in Leominster MA about 5 miles from my home co-ords. The ruins of his birthplace are at approximately 42.30.930 - 71.43.530. Every year Leominster holds an apple festival in his honor.
  10. Have 3 cars. Use the Garmin beanbag mount to transfer among vehicles, it works great. Anniebananie
  11. You will probably know when they will ship when the online manual for the 60cs appears on the Garmin website. The online manual for the 60c went up about two days before the release date. Anniebananie
