my first thought was black but i see 57 has thought of that already,,,what about a purple heart edition in memorial of our troops,, say like a dark purple transparent heart with satin gold coin , purple or black lettering maybe add a buck to the cost of just this edition and donate it to the troops.?!?! you could even mention something like give a purple heart to our troops!?!?

I saw that one was being sold there some days ago! not the coin from e-bay...in fact that listing was removed It is surelly a great coin from a great person given to a great person!!! I was reading that moun10bike coins have a hidden code of a special cache.... Ithink it was in V2, but I do not know if this continued in other versions too! Well.. today I was socked! Nope, no letters at all, but I got an email that I was gifted a premium membership for 2010!!! WOW!! I do not know what to say!!!!!! Thank you so much!!! What did I do to deserve that?? It's not my birthday! Well... sunsetmeadowlark knows that for sure! I would like to thank MomsPlace & Sunsetmeadowlark for this great present!!! WOW!!! I love you too my friends!!! THEY DID THIS FOR ME AS WELL A FEW MONTHS AGO,, I WAS SOOOO SUSPRIZED. so i sent them a special coin, for christmas, sun, mailed me and said she was gonna put it under the tree for mom, and i hoped she like it! never herd. also id like to mention i wasent sure where to post this but while im here...someone over christmas, sent Zariah 30 bucks to wal-mart online, they named them selfs "forum friend",, so im not sure who, has done this but Thank you very very much. were waiting to have some extra money mto add so we can get her something nice. but this was super thoughtful and nice of you Forum friend!!!

Heres what i look at everyday when i walk into my office...

i agree, with limited mint numbers, limiting buying, because as fred head said the ebay prices are brutal, ive seen 1 coin go for over a few hundred bucks before.. i think it discourages some collectors. tho i understand you cant allways have all the coins you want,, but if you limit numbers it stops the 10 persons from buying the whole lot and putting them on ebay. one of my designs has been sold out for many months but i see one person offering them on ebay still for a buy it now price of 25 bucks,,, holy cow!! i dunno if they sell but i think thats alot to sell them for like thats a regular price. i wonder how something like this effects the collector end... i myself have a limit on ebay,, and most coins i buy on there have to stay under that price or i dont buy. it sucks too because there are ones i reallllllly would like to add to my collection but will probably never have them due to pure cost. also i have not lost any intrest in geocoins, but more focused in finishing or completeing my sets, this was a route i chose to take awhile back,, due to my thinking.... they are pieces of art to me. i case all my coins and enjoy looking at them every day!!

I usually trade 1 unactivated coin for 1 wrap,, i donated the wrap for vegas to give to brian. hopefully he liked it. We will be meeting up with Brian on Saturday. I am sure he will like it. so if person (A) has a coin, person (x) and person (y) want,, how is it decided who gets the coin?

I have to agree with nikos, and somewhat with mark... i think peps are down on their luck with funds, i remember before all the med problems,, i was buying coins like crazy,, now i have to be very selective, and make sure all bills are paid for,, even this month with christmas i was forced to sell about 40 coins, to make a christmas for my family. it worked out great kinda like insurance i took out ahead of time,,, lol .. no really i was fortunate for christmas. but i think alot of peps are having med issues and that KILLS the geocoin funds.. ive always been pretty particular on what coins i bought but now i have to really like the design, or reason for the coin. i honestly think its all about the money right now,,ALOT of peps have lost their jobs, but i think once things get better, all will resume to be the same as it was.. maybe its a good time to take a small break from making coins,, allthough i would not include you t-sun ,, as i think your designs will still sell in 10 min or less!! pathtags are cool but is miles away from a well made geocoin,, i think they have growen again because you can have a run made for 100 bucks,, the cost of 10 or less geocoins. im suprised at how many of those path tags their are but to me id prefer a geocoin anyday of the week. yeah so over all it comes down to money.

ive only a couple of designs, but just from the 2 out thus far, when the icon was not loaded i got ALOT of emails about,, so i have to agree with t-sun here,,, if your looking to sell your coins,,, you want one,,, if your keeping your whole run for trades and caches ,, then its not as important

ive seen a few medicine wheels,, if im not mistaken, they usually dipict a bison, a bear, a eagel and wolf, if you take away the compass and use a medicine man you can use his arms and legs as directions. ???? just an idea to get your brain going.

you know i think peps make mistakes, but Chip here has gone the extra mile to make things right,, even tho harry sent zariah a mission , chip has stepped up and sent another box, and the box is big, i just wanted to reconise that they have done this.. ive been thinking about this thing for a few days because i wanted to return an email to them i havent had time to yet... but i really appluad them for stepping back up and doing this. im not sure whats in the box yet, and wont know till tonight when i get home with zariah to find out. i dont think by this gesture to fix things that their orginal intent was to upset anyone.. to be honest i havent had a chance to talk to them, yet. i would like to know what the orginal idea was behind the proxitys, coin choices, and baggies, but it really dosent matter... in my mind i think these are stand up peps, and should be givin applause for what their doing. two thumbs up Chip in my book!!! Zariah will be very happy to see this box of goodies and i thank you for the smiles yet to come. will post pics hopefully later tonight if i can find some time. thank you again Chip for doing what your doing!!

someone tell Hanukah harry thanks for making Zariah a happy girl tonight,, she saw a box on the portch, set aside of the door,, and said,, thats my present,,, and it was!!! inside was a bunch of stuff wrapped up,, man she thought santa came again, course i told her he sent his helper harry. inside was some candys a sheep webkins, a paddle ball, some bath soaps in a huge lolly pop. she thought she could eat it...haha and some coins, a kathys coin, she loved it, turning it all directions and smilen all over..... a flower coin that says have you hugged a cacher today,, never seen this one before. and she got hit by a snow ball too!! she was very happyu and hyped on sugar ,, i had to save some for another day.. thanks hanukah harry that was very nice of you and also very thoughtfull for you to send to her!!! I will post some pics of her, probably tomarrow. Thanks again!!!
