I was out just last week looking for a cache (GCWE1N to be exact) and was standing on a fallen tree when I finally found the cache on the tree covered a little bit. I moved the bark, grabbed the cache, and suddenly my ankle was really hurting. I jumped off the tree and was trying to "walk it off" when all of a sudden my pinky finger on my right hand started really hurting. Now I am really confused. I look over to where I found the cache and there is a SWARM of bees flying around. I look at the rest of me and see bees on me, just as one is stinging my chest! I immediately take off running (cache in hand) while wiping the bees off my shorts, my shirt, and my socks. Lucky for me, I didn't get stung again. I did get stung 3 times though. How is THAT for paying the price of going after a hard to find cache. I couldn't put the cache back because the bees were still swarming the area, so I left it on the same tree, but about 15 feet north of where it was. I told the submitter all about it. THAT, is my worst story (so far). Stung 3 times in one shot going for a cache. I earned that cache.
