I then went into the page for the specific List I wanted to share, and clicked on the "Share" icon (highlighted in yellow in the screenshot below). I'm trying to Share a List with friends. The Link does not appear. The following verb-age is from the share option. Clicking on SUBMIT should bring up the Link, but the link does not appear. Please help. Thanks, geo K
By making this List "Shareable," anyone with the link can view or copy your List.If you change the visibility to "Shareable," you are able to share this List with others.

I'd like to see In Lists and specifically in the edited Geocaching Name field
the formatting attributes. e.g. Bold, Underline, and Bullets. Similar to the
formatting capabilities that these forums have.

In my opinion, it's a design fault of the app. Seems like the "less than 100" group, unless they are caching with someone more experienced, aren't even aware that caches have descriptions!
We have about 125 hides, so we see logs from newbies all the time.
Most of the newbies never go to GC.com or have read our descriptions ,
seen our hints or even look at the navigate view of a cache.
Improving the app may help but initial instruction will help more plus more HELP info would help.

I use this feature to sort a list. Then I use the browser Print option to print it.
In Firefox click on the menu [a stack of 3 tiny horizontal lines] to the right end of the address bar.
Chrome uses 3 vertical dots for this menu.
The arrows to the left are also on the same line.
If the List is Public your friends/anyone can see the list in my profile in Lists [ below Favorites].
I usually have a sorted List there and will probably have one later today.
Note: These edits last as long as the List lasts. For me this is a week or two.
I do have some Private Lists that will last until I delete them.
I have a Private List that hasn't be modified since May, 2018.
I'm sure it has be used a number of times though.
The create date is not posted so not sure what my oldest List would be.
If you need something longer HHL's idea might be what you want.

On Computer:
- I have put together an Adventure Lab and am trying to test it.
- I am using Test [not private].
- A new QR code was generated.
On Phone:
- I do a QR scan and Open
- Google Play opens indicates Installed.
- I go to Adventure Lab on phone then the Directory.
- Looking for Test Adventure
- No test is present. Only completed and other Labs.
- The AL was not on the map either
I think, I must be missing something. Please help!

On the first location of an AL I am creating. I am getting a word count error in the Location Description . The builder is reporting 1028 words / 1024 allowed.
The actual word count, I've inserted is 210 words. I did a copy/paste from MS Word. Any thoughts.

To resolve this problem on my android phone, I uninstalled the Ad Lab app and then I went to Google Play
and did a new install. This resolved all issues I had with the the app. Once the app is installed it takes anhour or two for all your check marks to reappear on the map. The Find count is up to date and agrees with
GC.com when you 1st go into the app after the install.
I use an Android cell phone. The uninstall is done on the phone.
For those who have not done this, press and hold down the app and slide it to the top
of the screen. You should get two options Remove and Uninstall. Move the app
to the Uninstall then let go of the app. The app should be Uninstalled. Then follow
the instructions above to do the install.
Hope this helps others.

Holding AL down gives me App info which gives uninstall or force stop.

What I'm saying is that I read a few complainers about saturation. This took me to scan Hawaii and Sydney, Australia as a local area. Then I come back to my local area. Now what used to take less than a minute to scan the Chicagoland area I am getting these never ending scans. They fill up the directory listing to tht same 50 adventures and the scan continues. It's never ending. Hope that helps. If not I'll be here for a while.

That looks like not yet. How about a restart on the phone.
I don't seem to have a pause, but I've seen a wait when something is running to long. I don't get that from the AL app.

I'm not sure where the Pause/Unpause buttons are.
I also posted another problem I'm having. It has to do with distance searched.

On the Geocaching Adventures Screen and tapping the Search this area button,
My android gets a never ending Grey display on top of the local map saying "Searching Adventures".
It has a turning circle on it, indicating that it is still running.
Tapping the Directory menu [upper right] there are 50 adventures listed. Some are completed some are not started.
The never ending grey display is on this screen as well.
The app was working, but I looked at other areas eg Hawaii and Sydney, Australia. Some adventures from these areas
are listed in my directory.
I agree you need a limit on how many adventures to store, but the searching should only be on the local area.
There should be perhaps a 50 mile search limit of the local area on the map.
I have adventures in the directory that are upto 9,000+ miles distance from my local area.
This never ending problem may be preventing me from signing out of the app.

Sorry, the Profile screen shows that I am still Signed On. When tapping the Sign Out button, the button blinks fast but nothing happens.
I wonder what would happen if I uninstalled and reinstalled the app.

I'm using v. 1.2.22 on an android
This should be easy, right?
Tap on Profile. Tap on Sign Out. Nothing happens.
I'm trying to make the AL cache count agree with Geocaching count.
Any help is appreciated.

I like the ease of flipping between Lists and Favorites.
Just wish this feature was also in the Public Profile Lists, where you might be looking for someone else's public Lists.

The only way I can get to the "set map preferences" is by that link. Is that link someplace else and easier to get to?

My only problem is with the distance. It is to small. IMO It was much better when it was bigger and displayed on top of the map.
