  1. Can confirm that "Create a Route" is working again for me.
  2. Cannot find anything under my username, or for the start/end locations, that matches. Apologies.
  3. Another bit of info. Going into my "Created Routes", it shows that I have created a route but the length is 0 miles. The route should be 352 miles using country roads for the last 40% of the journey, or 429 miles using motorways for all but the last 25 miles or so.
  4. If you could, that would certainly be worth a try. I was trying to create a route from Abington, Southern Scotland to Pendine, South Wales.
  5. State added after location name. Tried UK, tried Scotland and Wales (as appropriate). Regarding the below, I've not added any software to my laptop since the last time I tried it.
  6. Trying to use the route creation section on the website, in advance of a summer holiday trip. I have used it successfully on my laptop in the past. Trying it today on Chrome, Firefox and Edge but it does not work. It is not searching for locations, nor showing possible routes. If I use the "Find existing routes" option, it does display routes, but I cannot create my own. Has anyone else got this issue?
  7. I am looking at creating two EarthCaches in Southern Scotland. Both are in areas that are openly and frequently accessed by members of the public, with well-established paths and visitors centres. With the Land Reform Access Act 2003 applicable, regarding recreational and educational access, is landowner/manager permission still explicitly required? https://www.scotways.com/faq/law-on-statutory-access-rights/228-what-activities-are-covered-by-rights-of-access https://shepwedd.com/sites/default/files/The right to roam rights and responsibilities.pdf Links for information regarding the freedom/right to roam.
  8. A further point that I have just discovered. If I select a cache and then use the "More Info" arrow in the sidebar, on returning back to the map it has lost all my filters.
  9. Initial thoughts after being given the opportunity to take part in the test: 1) Map view opens at too large a scale. 2) Inability to sort results by date last found (handy for lonely caches), Difficulty rating, Terrain rating, Distance. Yes, ok, you can see the distance on the map I suppose but the rest are handy. 3) The star icons for my hides have disappeared, instead replaced by the standard icons. 4) There is no obvious link to give feedback despite that being asked for. 5) There is no way to opt out of the trail and opt back in again later, so have to rely on memory to compare changes. 6) Having the results in a seperate table was helpful, so this seems a retrograde step in terms of the search. 7) I do like the incorporation of the Geocaching map. 8) The GC code is partially or completely hidden. 9) Cannot search within a specific radius of the location. This is just done by zooming the map, which then reduces the detail. Seperate pages for results and map meant that was not an issue. Duncan
  10. Mike, I'm glad to see that Groundspeak are aware of the issue. I've had similar. Logging caches with a photo from the Android App. Shows on the app as logged, but not on the website. I've taken to doing as you do, logging via the app and then editing the log/uploading photos via the website. I'd tell you which version of the app I'm using, but my phone decided to stop working on Monday... Regards, Duncan
