  1. Thanks for the info. After 20 minutes of crunching numbers I came up with some interesting stats. Here they are: Most Caches (including events, webcams, earthcaches etc) 1. California 64,675 2. Texas 31,024 3. Florida 19,187 Least Caches 1. District of Columbia 91 2. North Dakota 696 3. Hawaii 958 Most Caches per Sq. Mile (including bodies of water) 1. DC 1.33 2. CT .72 3. RI .7 4. NJ .69 5. MA .55 Least Caches per Sq. Mile 1. AK .004 2. ND .01 3. MT .02 4. SD .03 4. WY .03 Obviously these numbers will change, but it will take more than one cache to skew the numbers very much. This should be a wakeup call for cachers in ND to go out and hide some!!
  2. Does anyone know where I can find out how many caches are in each state?? I know these numbers change daily but just curious to find out what state has the most/least etc. Thanks
  3. I am staying in Nanuet NY for a couple days and can only cache for half of a day. Are there any good caches nearby that I wouldn't want to miss?? I know that there are quite a few state parks nearby. I'm a relative newbie so any caches that I may not have come across yet or good challenges? Any help is appreciated!!! Thanks!!
  4. I am trying to download waypoints from my GARMIN Rino 120 onto Delorme TOPO USA. I was pretty sure I had all the settings correct but I still can't seem to get the waypoints off of my GPS. Thanks for the help!! Dylan
  5. I sumbled upon a letterbox while looking for a cache that was within 10 ft of it. I don't think there is anything you can do. Maybe mention there is a letterbox nearby so people don't mistake it as your cache.
  6. I think I am hooked on FTF .... what time will I get my E-mail notification about new caches??? are new caches published at a certain time each day??? Thank you!
  7. I have a TB that has been in the hands of a cacher for 2 1/2 months . Am I out of line to be upset that they haven't moved it along. I contacted the user once and they replied that they would "move it along soon" Its been a month since that message. They haven't told me of any intentions that would warrant them holding on to the TB for that long. They also have been caching recently. I would understand if a TB sits in a cache for a while, but this seems unacceptable. Has anyone else had any experiance like this, if so how did you approach the situation. Thank you!!
