  4. I posted this one Geocky.org site and wanted to post here and get some feedback on what the turnout would be i also am in contact with local reveiwer to see if there is any issues with this lets here your thoughts i will copy and paste what is on the geocky.org site and leave link. link: http://www.geocky.org/modules.php?name=For...opic&t=1380 I have been in contact with The Bluegrass Railroad Museum about placing a cache on there location in Woodford county. And have had luck hopefully in the next few days it will be reveiwed and placed. I also met a cacher that actaully works for them and lives in berea and we have put together a idea. I would like feedback to see if we can make this work. What we are proposing is having an event that includes a 8 mile roundtrip ride on a historic antique coach with 4 to 5 stops on the rail to enjoy scenery and find a cache. All caches will have first to find prizes encluding and not limited to travel bugs and items from museum gift shop. In order to make this happen the museum and rail operators would need to charge 10 dollars a person to recover cost of fuel for the trip. They are will to work with me on children pricing (free as a possible option) if we can get 30 to 40 paying adults to attend this event. They are very interested in making a annual event or maybe twice annual event out of this. So what i need from you is to show me interest and if you feel we can make atleast 30 (iam hoping for more like 100) people that would pay 10 bucks to ride a train see the scenery and do some caching while at it. These caches will not be permenent they will be fore this event only as they will be on farms the rail rides through. any and all feedback is welcome and if you like the idea through some dates around for a time in or around september or october that would be a good weekend for everyone. It would either be one early morning or two late afternoon starting around 3 to 3:30pm. As they have train rides every weekend at 2pm. 5. I am pretty new to this hobby as of now i only have 52 finds but on the advice of a regular user i purchased a Garmin Etrex Venture HC from Amazon.com for 126 bucks shipped to my door and i have to say so far it has put me within 2 to 3 foot everytime even under a pretty heavy canopy a couple times. so if it was me i would return it and get a garmin i am very much sold on them. 6. I have a Garmin Nuvi 750 GPS that i have used to find some caches it seems rather hard to find them with this unit now being used for a car does that make it harder to find caches where as a handheld GPS would be more precise and or easier or do i just need to practice practice practice... and i was looking at a Garmin Legend HCX and a magellan trition 400 i never seem to see magellan on here are they not good better then the garmon or stick with a garmin if i choose to purchase a handheld... Any help is as always apprieciated Senor Moofer
