  3. 9-9-02 45 visited caches in one day...... A record for me!!! 40 micro/normal, 3 virtual, and 2 locationless for a grand total of 45 caches found. total time spent including the drive from north phx and back 11 hours take away .... take away 2 hours for driving to chandler and back, 45 minutes visiting the nice police officer, 15 minutes waiting for the kids to leave, and half a hour for lunch total time spent caching is 8 hours The first part was way fun and near the end the day turned in to a blurr...don't think i will ever try that again....did it mostly to make a point that in that area of town there are way to many caches to close together!!!!! all and all a good day caching before this my record was 12 We will be known by the tracks we leave behind [This message was edited by wolfb8 on October 10, 2002 at 10:33 PM.]

  13. Out of the 55 caches I have hidden I have only had to archive 5. 1 of them was a tempory cache to begin with. 2 others were hidden in other states and I had no way to get back to them in a timely manner to see if they were really gone or not. 1 I removed because the cachers in the area did not like the idea of a moving cache and people would find it and not move it. 1 was stolen not to bad of a record....thanks for the poll never did look at this before We will be known by the tracks we leave behind

  16. I hide the first stage of a multi in my front yard, Been a great way to meet some of the caching teams in the area. The second stage is about 3miles away. I also used my front yard for a cache i did for the first geoquilt since it had a limited number of cacher I needed to keep a close eye on it... of course with all the rocks and skulls out there it pretty easy to hide one. 17. Being the owner of this cache I believe that you have taken what I was saying out of context and the intent that it was writen. the cache page reads: "Ok on to the cache.. Please obey all signs they do enforce them.. The cache is about .4 mile from the parking area....If you are brave ...you can drive to about 100 feet of the cache...(but do so at your own risk).... There are lots of people that walk this hill so please be careful...the no trespassing is for motor vehicle ..... it is ok to hike, and ride bikes here.... don't hop any fences " THis was put there as a warning wolfb8
  18. It’s that time of year again to get ready for the 2nd annual “Arizona Geocaching Campout”. We decided to stay a little closer to the Phoenix area in hopes of getting a few more teams from the Prescott and Tucson area WHEN: August 30th - September 2nd WHERE: Tonto National Forest http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?ID=31456
  19. do to the press that arizona has recieved today I have decided to make a good many of my caches menbers only. I have done this because I really do not want to deal with them comming up missing this week end with all the new cacher I have a feeling we are going to have. So if your not a menber and have planned on doing some of my caches don't delete those waypoints that you have. If you are a menber don't worry about it... wolfb8

  24. Was going over thing to deduct on my taxes last nite and found a place to deduct hobbie. I am woundering if anyone else out there has thought or done Geocaching as a hobbie on there taxes. I figure with exchange items, stuff for new caches, GPS units, boots, internet, and all the other stuff you need to play. It comes in to a pretty nice chunck of change. Anyone else have any thought on the matter? libby
