Dang. can't get my queries either. Tried two new ones last night and had a new one set up to run on Thursday. Then I saw this posting. Arrrg.

For getting food smells out of plastic containers you can run them through the dishwasher. If that doesn't work then put some white vinegar in the container and close it up for awhile. That should do the trick.

Your cat looks just like mine! Only the ball would be in pieces and the hammy digested. Ick.

Hampster caching.... I have one of those hamster cars that is powered by the little beasties. I could put one of those car TB stickers on it and let it go!! Vroooom! LOL. Just kidding.

Those are really nice cards. Are they laminated? Or do you trade them only at events? I do all kinds of crafts and jewelry making so I have been thinking of doing a fimo/sculpey signature item. Something inexpensive, fun to make, and will survive weather conditions in the cache.

I think it would be fun to watch you place that cache!

I'm Brenda from CT and just learned about geocaching about a month ago. My first couple of tries were total flops: no gpsr, cops lurking by, no place to park. Got my eTrex today and plan on making up for lost time! I thought geocaching would be a great way to get outside and do some hiking and learn about my state. I always thought it would be fun to visit every town CT, but procrastinated....maye I should join Brian's club.....mmmmm later.

Goat? Did somebody mention a goat? (not to mention maggots) Maybe the gross factor is why so many folks go after the quick road side micros? I once stepped on a rotting guey mouse corpse in my parent's basement---with bare feet. But I guess that doesn't count since it happened long before I heard about geocaching. Just got my Etrex Venture today and am excited and now sqeemish about going.
