    Coin icon issue

I've looked into this and can not figure out why it is happening since the images appear properly in our database. So, It has now been filed as a bug for the developers to look at. Hopefully we'll have a resolution soon. Thanks for reporting it.
  2. You can call me a Karmachanic.
  3. It is my responsibility. I have fixed the issue. Thanks for making me aware of it.
  4. These are not Lock and Lock branded containers, but they are similar in function: geocaching.com cache containers
  5. The complete rules will be published on or before the promotion launch date of July 1, 2007 at http://jeep.geocaching.com.
  6. As of this morning, we've received requests for well over 8,000 Jeep Travel Bugs. We'll be pulling the request form and Jeep Travel Bugs will begin shipping today.
  7. We are asking in order to make sure that you are you.
  8. For those of you who receive the weekly cache notification emailer from Groundspeak, you may have seen this announcement already. For those of you who don't, here it is: The 2007 Jeep Geocaching Challenge begins on July 1st, 2007 in the USA. This year, it's a red die-cast Jeep Commander vehicle with a Travel Bug tag attached. As of today, we're enlisting geocachers to hide approximately 8,000 Jeep Travel Bugs in caches located in the lower 48 United States. If you are interested in placing a 2007 Jeep Travel Bug into a cache near you, please complete the request form, located here (while supplies last): http://jeep.geocaching.com/signup/ Visit http://jeep.geocaching.com on July 1st for details about the 2007 Jeep Geocaching Challenge.
  9. This is a list of all currently authorized Groundspeak distributors: Groundspeak Distributors The distributors are authorized by Groundspeak to purchase and resell merchandise from Shop.Groundspeak.com. There are other products that, from time to time, are authorized for production and distribution by Groundspeak. At the moment, there is no comprehensive list but we'll get working on one that can be published. In the interim, if you have a question about a specific vendor, please feel free to email me through my Profile Page and I will do my best to confirm/deny the existence of a license agreement.
  10. Closed per request of original poster.
  11. Absolutely not. I believe there IS a difference and, since I am the one who approves coin designs for geocaching.com tracking, you will not be seeing any anti-race coins or anti-sexual orientation coins. In fact, I'd really like to believe that no geocacher would even consider submitting such a design. However, as far as the 'etc' is concerned, I believe there is a lot of room between anti-smoking coins and an anti-race coin and we plan on addressing those on a case by case basis. Non-smoking coin? Don't drink coin? Say no to global warming coin? Jump the shark coin? No problem.
  12. Please post some sample images of the type of flag you'd like to see and I'd be happy look into having Groundspeak stock them at ShopGroundspeak.com.
  13. CITO 07 Tee Shirts are now available at Shop Groundspeak. They are $6 each, and are now available in Adult (unisex) and Children's sizes. Front: Back: Here are links to the Shirts: 2007 Adult CITO Tee Shirt 2007 Children's CITO Tee Shirt

  15. Here is the new CITO 07 Shirt Design. They will be available for sale by next weekend at Shop Groundspeak and soon after that at many of the Groundspeak Merchandise Distributors. We are planning to sell them for approximately US$7.00 or possibly less than US$7.00, depending on final production costs. They will be available in Adult (unisex) and Children's sizes. Front: Back: We really hope you like them.
  16. The design for the 2007 CITO coin is now done (as of this morning). We will be sending it to the manufacturer within the next day and hope to have them in stock by mid-March at the latest.
  17. It is our understanding that yet-to-be-named parties created this coin with the intent of harassing AtlantaGal. As a consequence, in the absence of information to the contrary, this thread will remain closed in order to avoid further harassment.
  18. With all due respect, we disagree with your legal analysis. If, as it seems, you do not agree to the terms and conditions as stated in the Waypoint License Agreement, then we (Groundspeak) are unwilling to license the data to you. Consequently, if you continue to use the pocket query functionality on geocaching.com without fully agreeing to the terms as stated, we will have no choice but to restrict your access to geocaching.com. Please feel free to contact me via PM and we will make a policy exception and refund your Premium Membership fee in its entirety.
  19. Based on the fact that there seems to be some confusion regarding the scope and limitations of the Waypoint License Agreement, in the interest of further clarifying Groundspeak's position, the relevant text has been changed to read as follows: "• Licensee shall not sell, rent, lease, sublicense, lend, assign, time-share, or transfer, in whole or in part, or provide access to the Data, Related Materials, any updates, or Licensee's rights under this Agreement to any third party whatsoever." "• Licensee shall not remarket, resell, and/or redistribute the Data or any derived portion(s) of the Data in its digital form to any third party whatsoever."
  20. Team Sieni, Vinnie and Sue Team are correct. When you first purchased your premium membership, you paid for a one year, non renewing membership. As of late September 2006, that membership expired. If you'd like to renew your Premium Membership, please visit the Premium Membership Subscription page. Also, I apologize for the delay with our email response. We do have a backlog in emails due to the holidays and the fact that we were moving offices over the past few days. If you need further assistance, please feel free to contact me.
  21. Hopefully it will make it to Eugene. For those of you who don't know, that particular Unite for Diabetes Travel Bug is just a little bit special. On, December 4th, 2006, the International Diabetes Federation launched the Unite for Diabetes Travel Bug Challenge by placing the Eugene, Oregon Travel Bug in the TF16 180° Sea geocache (GCWK3K). Clare Rosenfeld grew up in Eugene Oregon and she was the the first person to propose a UN Resolution on Diabetes. On December 4th, she handed over the Eugene Oregon travel bug to Dana Lewis who trekked to the top of Signal Hill in Cape Town, South Africa to place it, the first U4D travel bug, in the TF16 180° geocache.
  22. Sadly, I can't take credit for that one. Hydee and I did meet at an event cache. We also went late night caching on the night we got engaged.
  23. On January 1st, the functionality for submitting photos will be added to the Unite For Diabetes Travel Bug Detail pages.
  24. A few thousand have already been shipped over the past three days.
