Anybody ever done a long rally-style event that spanned over a 100 miles or so??? Going from point to point using clues (some hard, some easy) to find their way to the next one? Bozz

DNF's are part of the fun! I don't know about you, but I **DO** go and re-attempt if I have to post a DNF. However, it doesn't matter to me if people don't always log a DNF. I look at it this way, if I set out to find it, and don't -- it is a DNF. Bozz

I have the eTrex Legend as mentioned in this post, and it is pretty awesome! If you have any idea that you will want to do any mapping with it, spring the $179 and get this model or better (Vista). The basic Yellow one is fine, but just to Navigate, not map. Bozz

Alright, a question for you: Is it good (acceptable) etiquette to have a travel bug and give it to another GeoCacher to place in a cache a long way from where you found it? (ie: give to my brother-in-law to take back to Texas with him and place) -- I got him hooked while he was here in Florida. Thanks for the help. Bozz
