  1. Go to the adopt page, use the TB reference number, not the tracking number.
  2. Yes, www.geocaching.com/adopt. Use the TB number on the page, not the tracking number.
  3. I think I might be the only one left. And if you saw how my current one is being held together I may not be one much longer. Thanks for what you did do. I'm not going to delete them now! After a few drops on concrete, not intentional of course.
  4. First of all THANK YOU!!!! I loaded them as described into my Explorist 600. No issues. I looked around at the trails I'm most familiar with and everything looked good. The appearance on the gps is either a dashed trail or a solid line, both black. I did not see any other type of line or color. Not sure what the difference is yet, but will continue to look. I just wish I had some time now to actually use the loaded trails, I hope to get out after the holidays to check them out for real! Thanks again!
  5. Cool. Thanks for posting! I will be buying some of that soon.
  6. Gotta love that duct tape, the only thing keeping mine together, I dropped it one too many times the last time on concrete snapped the screw casings. As can be seen in the picture the mount is also being held together with duct tape. Also the clip part of the cable broke, but I can still get it to sit there as long as it does not get too rough on the road. I wish I could create my own gps, it would be a cross between my old SportTrak (which never lost a signal) with some of the software on the 600. It is unlikely my next GPS will a Magellan.
  7. Congratulations to WRASTRO on 2000!
  8. First of all I wouldn't give up hope yet, I know it has been a few months but I've had bugs appear again after longer period of times. There was a recent thread about a bug reappearing after five years. Releasing several bugs will also lessen the disappointment of the failure of one. Also did you mark it as missing (unknown location) or did he?

    5 Years later

Great to see one come back, but it has to make you wonder how it ended up in Australia after it went missing in Maine.
  10. And I'm guilty of reading too fast, saw that word numbers and state and my brain registered geocachers not geocaches. Back to the original question, none that I'm aware of.
  11. They are not there anymore! On the spur of the moment today we headed to Mt Vernon to get some pumpkins and bulbs, I remembered this thread and recorded the information for the two caches right before we walked out the door. I'll get to the logs later tonight and move the trackables on over the next week or so, I'll try to make sure to split them all up to different locations.
  12. Are you looking for something like this? Check out the Location Index for state by state information.
  13. Not a premium member. That still shouldn't stop you, as long as you are along with premium members. Just have them send you the link after they have selected 'log your visit' on the cache page. It was mentioned by someone at Groundspeak in the forums a couple of years ago as a legit back door for situations where non premium members are out caching with premium members.
  14. Yes this is possible. Got to www.geocaching.com/adopt. Enter the TB reference number on the tracking page, not the tracking number.
  15. Number one don't give up. I would volunteer but I live north of Seattle, but if you don't hear from anyone we end up in West Seattle to visit some family occasionally and could work something out. I'm sure you have done this but start by looking for those that are 1 or 1.5 difficulty first and make sure they are small or regular size. Once you get the hang of those start looking for others.
  16. I carry a roll of Golden Dollars coins in my pocket at almost all times. I usually leave one at any cache that is big enough to hold one.
  17. I don't think that is going to happen, there would be a big outcry from those who use it. But with that being said I think a way to encourage people to move trackables would be to show the total miles/kilometers you have moved the trackables you have found along the way, just a number at the bottom of the trackable page next to the total number of trackables moved/discovered.
  18. Congratulations to Allanon on 2000th earlier today!
  19. I noticed this on my personal TB that I use to log into and out of every cache first, just prior to the most recent upgrade.
  20. So it sounds like you retrieved it online also? It should be in your online inventory, is it the Paperless Caching Geocoin? If it is the number should show up when you do a cache log, down in the TB box at the lower left of the cache log page.
  21. Here is another similar discussion on this topic from last year. Last year when that thread was going I was seeing lots of bugs with that happening, recently not as much.
  22. You might want to check out this very recent thread. From what I have heard they still have plenty.
  23. Which version? The tracakble coin from last year had different versions, one for each chapter of the WSGA.
  24. Have the current owner use this link, to adopt the cache over to you, all they need is the GC number, GC14D6K, and your geocaching id, PeterAndTrisha. You will receive an email to finish the process.
