  1. You can get your activation code off of geocaching.com now. http://www.geocaching.com/track/ActivationCodeRetrieve.aspx
  2. http://www.geocaching.com/adopt/. Use the TBxxxx number listed on the trackable page not the tracking number. You will be guided through the steps to adopt it out to another account.
  3. Thank you very much! I really enjoyed the anticipation, and to my surprise I have none of the coins already. My girls enjoyed opening them as much as I did. And thank you for the extra surprise! That was fun! I'm going to have to go for these more often. Thanks again!
  4. Kudos to the 3bobs on finding his 1000th cache yesterday, and also logging his 1000th trackable on the same day.
  5. I went back and had to check my post of how many I ordered. I remember ordering up to 10 of each coin that came out, especially the early trackable ones, of course there was only one coin coming out every few weeks, not multi per week. Much easier to afford in those days.
  6. A must do in my book in Portland is DR. Who.. Another of my favorites in the Vancouver area is Historic Flight, recommend as the cache owner does to do the final in the evening, on a nice day, great spot to sit and enjoy.
  7. I do not have the official Groundspeak travel bug tags but I do have a couple of the GW Salmon Cachekinz if those would work for you.

Like others I have had started and stopped several times when trying to post here, and am still struggling. For now I would just like to add to the Al Borin suggestion. It was what I thought of first, four of his hides are/were in the park, and based on a couple of guided tours from Brian over the years, he really enjoyed this park and the trails.
  9. Try 'cache' for the activation code, that has worked for all cachekinz type of trackables I have purchased.
  10. Good thing I hit preview post, I was posting the same link as Lizzy just did. Also do not miss Dr. Who. in Portland.
  11. If you have kids or are a kid at heart do not miss The Grilled Cheese Grill. Have them add a slice or two of dill pickle for an even more scrumptious sandwich! Make sure to eat inside the bus, and don't forget the tomato soup.
  12. yea...good point haha Sorry I got surgery today so I'm a little out of it, I'm in Lynnwood, WA There is an event in Lynnwood next week May Days...Summer's Rainbow! Meet N Greet. Events are great as you can meet other local cachers. It is also a good place to ask questions of other cachers. I'm not sure I'm going to be there yet but if I am there introduce yourself, maybe we can even squeeze in a cache or two. :-) oh wow neat, any idea what day its on and where exactly its at? or is there a site I can go to get details about it? Friday, May 14th, 2010 from 6-7:45 PM Alfy's Pizza 4820 - 196 ST SW Lynnwood Or click here.
  13. The Olympic Peninsula Chapter of the WSGA put together this recommended list.. I do not know your tastes, but I would add Discovery Bay "Rocks", a great little road side attraction.

  15. I get GC8E in Australia, center point in Snohomish County WA for a very large square, otherwise the results are good. Similar results when I did one with the center point near Downtown Seattle.
  16. Took Nothing Left Nothing Signed Log.
  17. I'll put a plug in for one of my favorites right now, Mausoleum, one of the most interesting locations I have ever visited. A couple of years ago when up there that was the busiest spot we found on the Island with the exception of the ferry line that is.
  18. You should check with Rey del Roble that is his area and has hid many up there. Edit: I cannot type.
  19. Cache owners can mark trackables missing. Just go to your cache, select the trackable that is missing. Once on the trackable page in the upper right is a box called Trackable Items Option, a the bottom is a line called actions, right under that is a drop down option, just select Mark Item as Missing and hit go. It should now not be listed in your cache.
  20. Maybe just adding up and displaying the total miles you have moved trackables right next to how many you have moved/discovered might add some interest in moving them.
  21. I still see it on a couple of other caches pages that I checked when I first saw your post. But I did notice that if a cache has two or more trackables it does not currently show up. As you said mentioned it probably is a website issue. Tell you what, I'll head up there tomorrow and clean out all the trackable so you can see the history!
  22. You can do this for your cache or any cache. Go to the cache page you want to check the history for. On the right side under the map and the attributes you will see a section called Inventory. In that box you will see an item called 'See the History'. Select 'See the History' and this will take you to a list of all trackables that have passed through this cache.
  23. I always treat trackables that have no goal as current holders choice. Move it to a cache of your choice. In fact I like finding trackables like this, no expectations.
  24. Same here. Last generated 9/30. Tried IE 8.0 and Firefox 3.5.3.
  25. The Puget Sound Chapter of the WSGA always holds an Event the Saturday after Christmas. I've heard that because it is the day after Christmas this year and the next weekend is the day after New Years it has been decided to delay it until early January. I'm sure the page will be posted soon.
