When setting up a multi cache is it common to place a log at each stage of the cache? Can multiple traditional caches be listed as a part of a multi?

When placing a Multi Cache is it common to place a log in each stage of the Cache? Or can traditional Caches be used to give clues to the location of another cache?

Are there times during the year that caching tends to drop off? Obviously during the winter there are less people looking epically for those of us that live in areas that see snow. But I was wondering if the end of summer sees a drop off in the number of people looking for caches? Or if holidays tend to stop people?

Rather then trying to keep the Cache dry why not allow it to fill. This will solve the problem of the container wanting to float up... The log can be made out of a plastic slate used for scuba diving and if you store a pencil (tethered) in the cache the cacher can log their visit on site...
