I'm a 42 year old mom of 3 active boys and I stumbled upon geocaching without any male help. I found out about it in a weird way. I saw Planet of the Apes and wanted more information about the ending. I searched the Internet and found out that the producers/creators were running a geocaching game, with prizes that were tied to the film. I was hooked! I've taken my sons, my friends, and just myself on many hunts. In fact, we are heading for Rocky Point, Mexico (Puerto Penasco) and we'll hopefully find the 3 caches hidden there.
Geocaching is a great sport to do with your kids. We work together to find the 'treasure'. We respect each other's abilities. I love it.
