  1. Thanks for the reply. I will just pass it along to another local cache
  2. Speaking of Meridian problems. I had a strange problem occur on my meridian Color. I was searching for a cache right next to an airport barrier fence (LAX), I was looking at the GPS showing my location, then all of a sudden a plane took off and my GPS showed that I was now over the pacific ocean at about 500 mph???!! Has anyone ever heard of something like this happening, or can they explain how it would happen?? I assume it somehow was locked on to the moving aircraft, as the next plane that took off the same thing happened. Very weird.
  3. Or just make your own! I make my own stickers etc... right at home on my PC, can put ANYTHING on them.
  4. I have a problem myself regarding moving TB's. I picked up a TB about 2 weeks ago with the intent of taking it to Oregon, which was relatively close to being near the intended destination. However, a recent family emergency has cancelled my trip to Oregon, now I am stuck with the TB, I was trying to move along. Should I just stick it back in the same cache I took it from, or move it to one in the general area??? Not sure what to do with it now that our plans fell through.
  5. Yes try the new firmware. v 5.12 is out. Works great for me. (Meridian color).
  6. People who want a decent product that is an all in one package instead of pieced together programs.
  7. Try upgrading your netscape. 4.8 is REALLLLLLLLLY old. I use Netscape 7.1, works flawlessly.
  8. Ditto! I'll fight the meanest tiger, but keep that dang nasty spider away from me.
  9. So in order to truly test it we should drop it from say.. 6 ft into water. Any takers wish to try it??
  10. LOL, I DID read that today!! I was wishing I had tentacles, that way I could carry more maps and maybe an additional GPS.
  11. Sounds interesting. Is this cache still up? I tried searching geocaching for a reference to Greystone and only caches in Canada come up. ------------------ BTW, my wife thought I was a wacko too until she found her first cache. Now she won't even let me see my GPS when we search together! lol
  12. I recently learned the "don't stick your hand into dark places" lesson. Stuck my hand in to get the cache, pulled out the cache, and a nice black widow on my hand. Appears I am not alone, as a review of the cache posting has a similar instance at the same cache 11 days later by someone else. AHhhhhhhhh, I HATE spiders. Will always wear gloves in the future.
  13. My wife has went with me a few times and loves it, but I generally cache alone as my schedule is a little more flexable. I am not sure who enjoys it more, me or her. Although, I do have a few scrapes on me from her throwing me out of the way to get to the cache first. ------------------ Hmmm, if I cache alone and don't tell anyone, and would rather cache than work, does that make me an addict?? I am Redondola, I am a cache-a-holic.
