  1. Yes but my point is if the speedos thinking I'm doing 120 per hour when Im really doing 115 then the odometer is tacking on an extra 5 kms an hour. Thats not right.
  2. So I have a question then. If my car speedo shows me doing 120kph and my GPS shows 115kph then my car odometer will be off by 5 kph over an hour right? For the average driver this wouldn't be a problem but I put A LOT of mileage on my car (its 6 months old and has over 24000 km's on it). This would 'cause' the car to age to fast and lower its value sooner then it should correct?
  3. How many people monitor channel two on their FRS radios? Its channel 2 0 as opposed to 2 1 I assume? I'm in Southern Ontario.
  4. Yes I agree with you Renegade Knight and Wartide. Its not rocket science. I'm pretty dadgum good at hiding things! I've got a spot in mind with an absolutley AMAZING view espsecially first thing in the morning as the sun is coming up. I'll let everyone know if/when the cache is planted.
  5. Ya I've been reading all the posts on here and plan to use an ammo can. Saw a website that showed how one guy camo painted it. In a bush you'd have to be looking for it to find it.
  6. Hi!!! I'm totally new to this Geocaching stuff. I just picked up my first GPS unit on monday, a Meridian GOLD SE. Its a special bundle which comes with the MapSend Streets and destinations for Canada software and an additional 16 megs of memory. So far its a sweet unit. For those of you in or around the Collingwood Ontario area, I plan to plant a cache up in that area this coming weekend (Oct 31 thru Nov 2nd). I'll of course post its info when its done. GSPLover
  7. I just picked up a Meridian Gold SE yesterday. Its a VERY nice unit with tons of features the others dont't have. I can fit a detailed map from ste. saint Marie over and down to ottawa, into the US and across to windsor into 12 megs of its memory! Here is review of the GOLD: http://www.gpsinformation.net/mgoldreview/mag-gold.htm
